Good Points: Lovely setting- near the beach, high standard of loos, showers etc. Great value for money- when camping in your own tent. Staff are friendly and helpful, there were also some activities laid on for children. There is Internet access in reception which we found very useful. The village is easily walkable, as long as you know the pedestrian shortcut, and has a good selection of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, cinema etc.
Bad Points: Ile Noirmoutier is quite a trek, and the roads are not that direct. We booked a week there but were bored after 4 days - we are more city people though and I'm no good in too much sun. We didn't get our money back, but left a day early and had a night in Boulogne before we went back through the Tunnel.
General comments: I would definitely use this company again - their own tents that you rent with equipment look lovely. The setting is very similar to the North Norfolk Coast here in UK - a plus for some, but for a Norfolk boy like my husband not that exciting. It is also one of the few places in Europe I have been where we are the only English people there - it is very popular with French holiday makers - which I think is a good sign. If you want to experience real France - and love Seafood, this is the place to go. If you're coming through the tunnel, or from Calais, I would advise breaking your journey, we did cheap 2 am crossings and had a night in St Omer going and, as it turned out, 2 nights in Boulogne.
