“the Qbic Hotel London”

Written on: 13/04/2015 by George388 (1 review written)

A hotel that is no frills and has rooms that are just that bit different in their décor, in a fun way.Took a bit of getting used to but fabulous , huge, comfortable beds in a spotlessly clean room won me over. Will stay there again on my next visit… Read Full Review

“First Class Hotel”

Written on: 02/04/2015 by OneOliver (1 review written)

We stayed at the Hotel Don Pancho, Benidorm between 17/31 March 2015 and once again had a wonderful holiday. All the staff were excellent, they cannot do enough to ensure your stay with them is enjoyable I cannot fault anything. There is a good choice of food and a varied menu everyday, presented well and all that that should be hot was hot. The bar service was good and prices are still very reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The only downside is that I have to use THOMSONs from… Read Full Review

“A Lakeland Gem”

Written on: 30/03/2015 by KristinMcCracken199 (1 review written)

We have just returned home after spending 3 nights at Summerhill Country House a truly wonderful relaxing expierence made possible by the delightful owners. NOTHING was to much trouble, this was apparent as we were greeted with Tea & Coffee and Patsy's Home Made Baking. The place is spotless with comfort to the highest order and excellent little touches like Patsy's Home Made Chocolates & Home Made Biscuits in our room. We have already booked to return later this year. The only complaint we… Read Full Review

“A real treat. ”

Written on: 23/03/2015 by chevynet (1 review written)

Three of us stayed at The Burlington in Birmingham Saturday night and were most impressed. Our Daughter had been to conferences there and thought it would be a treat for her father’s birthday and belated mother’s day for me, rather than travel back to Hereford and her to Worthing after a concert. The staff were cheerful friendly and polite. Melpo on reception was truly charming. and when we came to check out we again had a warm and friendly exchange with the person I dealt with. It was… Read Full Review

“Lovely,relaxing stay”

Written on: 17/03/2015 by ginaGraeme (1 review written)

we wanted a simple walking brek in the South Downs, away from it all with good food and hospitality. The Ram at Firle was perfect for this. A super cozy pub with chatty and friendly staff, super room and very fluffy towels and bath robes. we felt cosseted throughout our stay. Lovely walks from the pub up to Firle beacon and beyond. A real haven close to home! nothing to dislike at all. … Read Full Review

“Small Portions at La Tasca”

Written on: 22/02/2015

My wife and I visited La Tasca in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (Quayside) as we have done for many years. Unfortunately this time my wife chose the Brochetas De Pollo anticipating two decent sized chicken kebabs (this is a speciality dish). Unfortunately this was a bad decision, very small portions for nearly £10. We discussed this with the manager who was apologetic but said that the portions came like this (externally sourced)and he could do nothing, but suggested I complain via tripadvisor. The rest… Read Full Review

“Cannot better this one!”

Written on: 19/02/2015 by Kaitlynni52 (1 review written)

The Wooden Leg in Kleinmond, South Africa, is a perfect place to be pampered. Arno and Janette are the warm hosts who have created a lovely B&B with all the comforts you can wish for. The rooms are very well appointed and tasteful. The breakfast are superb, and if you want to have an evening meal Janette will present mouthwatering fare. This is a good alternative to the much more expensive places in Hermanus which is only a few kilometres away… Read Full Review

“lanzarotte village hotel”

Written on: 22/01/2015

We have just come back from a 2 week holiday at the above hotel in Lanzarotte. What a disappointment - it rates itself a 4 star more like a 2 star. The dining room is like a works canteen. The sitting/relaxing areas consist of a 1960s style plastic tables, bucket seats and naff cheap evening entertainment. The only other sitting areas were the reception area which resembled an airport lounge and the outside area by the pool heated by gas lamps. We would not recommend for the money we paid £838… Read Full Review

this hotel was amazing, the staff were all brilliant the food was spot on, something for everyone. The. Hotel was immaculate and the music room was lovely, some of the acts were a bit dire especially Jason Kane. It is situated in Levante Beach area and is just a 30/40 minutes toll from the old town. “JURYS INN BELFAST”

Written on: 01/12/2014 by bmaguire (1 review written)

As a surprise for my sisters 40th we booked in to Jurys Inn Belfast on Sat 15 Nov 2014. We travelled quite a distance and were glad to be at the hotel. On arrival we went to reception complete with booking ref no etc, only to be told by the receptionist we had already booked in. The deputy manager who was on duty that day accepted no responsibility what so ever for their mistake. He was very rude to us and his staff who were trying to help. He told us he could get us 4 more rooms in another… Read Full Review

“A Gosport Gem”

Written on: 02/11/2014 by brianloveday (1 review written)

This cafe/bistro is a hidden gem in Gosport . I've visited this cafe twice and each time I have been impressed with the food and service. The cafe is in a brilliant scenic position overlooking Portsmouth harbour. Because of its position it is very popular on a sunny day. There are only a limited number of tables inside so for meals it would be advisable to book. The staff take great pride in the food and service. … Read Full Review
