“The Manor Hotel Yeovil”

Written on: 23/08/2016

I stayed at this hotel in August for a week. This review will open with their most positive asset, the friendly, cheerful and professional attitude of the staff En Bloc. Now we arrive at the less positive. Problems that were experienced. Booked room, one of the best on offer large four poster bed, very spatial room, walk in wardrobe plenty of storage space and bathroom facilities in the main perfectly ok. Fault one. No shelf space for toiletries, gentlemen have razors and other bits and pieces… Read Full Review

“poor food standards and pool hygine”

Written on: 17/08/2016

we have just returned from Egypt (jazz aqua marine)in haggarda,we all had the runs and ear infections. The food was very poor and the kids lived on chips, when they could get them. I wouldn't ever go back but there was some good parts of our two week stay, the staff were all very helpful and the place was clean and tidy, there was nothing out side of the hotel and the nights dragged on. Thompsons were lacking in any empathy for our family and couldn't be bothered to follow up on our complaint… Read Full Review

“Arrandale Lodge, Norwich, Norfolk, England”

Written on: 03/08/2016 by Greyson71 (1 review written)

I stayed here for the third time this year and I usually book for 3 or 4 nights. It's a very homely and quiet, fist-rate guest house. I always get a very warm welcome, the breakfasts are excellent, better than most hotels. My room is always clean and comfortable and the on-site parking is very good. It's only 5 minutes drive from the university and west side of the city centre, also the outer ring road is ideal for the airport,A11, A140 or the east coast. … Read Full Review

“Florida villa”

Written on: 29/07/2016 by Fedup16 (2 reviews written)

Booked holiday to Florida with Ocean Florida, staff in UK excellent throughout the process. We booked 13 months in advance to secure the location we wanted and were assured all was well for this site. However, on arrival in Kissimmee US staff told us we had been re-located to another site miles from where we wanted and with less young children facilities. We were more than disappointed and although the house was good it wasn't, what we had booked or expected. US staff unhelpful and excuse was… Read Full Review

“Great Location for Wimbledon”

Written on: 07/07/2016

This hotel lived up to its name Best Western. All staff were kind, happy and extremely helpful. Room was ideal for our overnight stop. Only a short walk to the tube for Wimbledon, Kew Gardens and Twickenham. Breakfast was set up in the reception area which worked very well and the variety of food was very good. I would certainly stay here again would recommend Best Western to all my family and friends… Read Full Review

“do not stay here”

Written on: 07/07/2016

arriving as expected, the door was opened by a large gentleman wearing only a bath towel round his waist. The room was not pleasant, needed dusting, with a smeary mirror. no coathanger, cupboards containing others' stuff. Boiler extremely noisy, black mould round the bath. no Tv as advertised and the location was not less than 1 mile from the airport (hence walkable). These people are amateurs - their living room where I sat whilst the owner put some clothes on was untidy and unwelcoming… Read Full Review

“Disappointing lunch visit. Misrepresentation.”

Written on: 10/06/2016 by Bradleykc91 (1 review written)

Paid a visit to The Masons, a pub in St. Mellons, Carduff. The outside is delightful, as was the inside . However, we wandered around the tables noting every table seemed to have a Reserved sign. However, we were approached by a waitress who told us that we could sit where we liked if we were eating. The Reserved cards were only on the table to keep the people who just wanted to drink away!! I don't quite understand this as the place was empty. We ordered and sat down. Food came, no… Read Full Review

“RIU Palace, Maderia.”

Written on: 10/06/2016 by Kiersten250 (1 review written)

We have just returned from our first holiday on this lovely island of Maderia, the hotel is about a 10 minute drive away from the main town of Funchal, a shuttle bus which is free runs 3 times a day morning and afternoon so no hassle. It's worth paying for a sea view room the higher the floor the better the view, reception staff are always happy to help with any requests you may have, the restaurant opens for dinner at 6pm there are 2 sittings and you will be offered a choice, food was… Read Full Review

“Birthday celebrations ”

Written on: 16/05/2016 by PETERINDORSET (1 review written)

If you are looking for a venue, look no further than The Isle of Purbeck Golf Club, it is second to none. Over looking Pool Harbour and Brownsee Island the views are stunning. Have just held a Birthday celebration in the Club House with for 40 guests all of whom praised the venue, the food, the wine and espcially the caring staff and first class service and to crown it all, the magnificent views. If it is not your birthday, you could of course always play a round of Golf and have a relaxing… Read Full Review

Have spent lots of time at the Fenwick hotel over the last 14 months preparing for our daughters wedding. The staff were friendly and the food in the resturant was excellent. The Wedding Coordinator was first class, accommodating ,helpful and friendly. The day of the wedding ran like clockwork, ttaking care of every aspect so we could enjoy the day without stressing.
