Good Points: Intelligent, stay active even into their old age, no common ailments, fantastic companions.
Bad Points: In my opinion stubborn.
General comments: My schnauzer molly has a brilliant personality, she is now 13 but shes still up to mischief and runs around like a 2 year somedays. Although she has calmed down alot in recent years as she was a very boisterous and dominant dog. Schnauzers need very strict training as they are stubborn and generally like to do only what they want. They are very fast learners and pick up things very quickly. Overall the Standard Schnauzer is a fantastic dog with an amazing personality and great fun.
