“Online robbers- avoid like a plague”

I will avoid this online retailer at all cost. They will take your money but wont deliver the product. Customer service is rubbish.They wont answer emails or telephone calls . You can try it for yourself. Phone is constanly engaged and if you happen to get throgh they will say they will get back to you but never do. If you dont belive me try it for yourself.I call them online daytime robbers. (read more)

Normally web sales go through without any hitch. Items ordered did not arrive - phoned Arkpetsonline and was told that some items selected were not in stock - was told that big red notification blaa was indicated when item was selected - not on my computer - told that items in stock would be sent - still waiting after one week - update still shows items awaiting collection. I will never use these guys again. (read more)

Do NOT buy lamps from here.They are sub standard and last 2 months max.No refund/replacement will be given after 30 days.So called manager,CLAIR CORNELL will get nasty and aggressive,she will tell you to send it back to manufacturer(lamps made in China),she will say you have a problem with your electricity,she will also try to get you to complain to head office in Plymouth (who will not respond),all this despite admitting they had an issue with lamps! “Ark pets online / selling items ! Out of stock”

I ordered 3 items one of arrived promptly . Phoned up to ask why the red sea salt wasnt on the shippment ?. Was told out of stock and is due to be in stock in 10 days ?. So i had to pay £18 more to get red sea coral pro that they had in ? Never a word of sorry ? Seems they just want your money ? Better of using Swell uk stick to them who dont let you down (read more)

I wish I had read other reviews spent 1500 for aquarium had nothing but trouble waited ages then had next to no notice of a delivery time waited only to find goods missing. Chased and promised delivered next day no goods had to pay myself for Saturday delivery as they wouldn't. Worst experience ever buyers be aware this is not the place to shop (read more)

There seems to be some confusion between Ark Pet Centres, http://www.arkpetcentres.com/ and http://www.arkpetsonline.co.uk/ The vast majority of negative reviews here seem to be for Ark Pets Online which have absolutely nothing to do with Ark Pet Centres, however the link above these reviews points to Ark Pet Centres (which we're trying to rectify). I ordered a very small item (rubber seal) for £8.90. I was told it would be a couple of weeks for stock so asked for a refund as felt fish couldn't wait that long so cancelled order asked for refund and went elsewhere. That was on the 24th January - today is the 18th March and still no refund. Now I accept its a small amount of money but really!!!! Ordered tank and stand from Ark pets on Line 29th Nov 2011, finaly told could not supply correct stand so cancelled orfer 4th Jan 2012 and after numerous calls and lots of promises STILL No refund and customer services actualy told me last time to contact Visa to get my money back. Looks like £260 down the pan Don't go near them. (read more)

My story start on 15th December 2011. I ordered a LIDO 120 aquarium (255 pounds) and they said in the website when I did the payment that they deliver it for FREE in 1-2 days. The day after I received a mail where they told me that they could not do the deliver in 2 days and if I wanted to receive the Acuarium on time I should pay 30 pounds more to deliver to my area. “Unable to supply and still waiting for refund”

I ordered this uv bulb on the 16th October and was advised on 18th October they were out of stock, but a delivery was due that day and to expect delivery the following day. No delivery so I chased and was advised on 24th October to expect delivery on 27th. Again no delivery so on 27th October I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money, which they promised to do. The same has happened to me, bought an aquarium, i then cancelled the order because i had no reply from them regarding delivery. Been told it can take upto 28 days to be refunded my money, 21 days gone now and still no money. This place is the worst i have ever had dealings with on the internet, just not bothered am now in process of contacting the trading standards.

Avoid this company at all costs!
They dispatched my order with an item missing (Left it to the delivery driver to inform me), another item was damaged at the warehouse (They sent it anyway), the third item arrived in tact! 1 out of 3 items being delivered is not great service.
Add to the above, the WORST customer service i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with - nothing is there fault and they are very reluctant to sort problems out!
Still waiting on the other two items five weeks...

Would not recommend this place to anyone. It is also known as Pet Express so stay clear of them as well. I ordered four dog toys and they only sent two that I ordered and because they were out of stock on the other two they just substituted what I wanted with three other ridiculously small toys that would not be suitable for my dog to play with. ordered online december 28th i've finally recieved goods today (8th Jan!!) this is with me paying 4.99 pounds delivery as well. My order was constantly as "pending" even though I had checkout and paid correctly. It wasn't until I sent an email asking what was happening that it changed to acknowledged. They took my order online with credit card details I printed out order confirmation. After not hearing from them for 2 days, I looked on my account on the web and it said I have no orders. I placed an order on this site a couple of months ago, but the item never arrived. The money has not been taken from my account, but the order still shows as pending so I am worried that it may be taken at some point in the future. They have not replied to emails and I dont have a phone number or geographical address. I eventually discovered that they have moved out of their previous premises without leaving a forwarding address and no-one seems to know where they have gone.
