This company isn't a joke like all others... Those guys are the real thing. we had 77 VMDK files that were lost on our SAN. These guys recovered everything. Previously it was sent to another company who couldn't recover it. (read more)

I’ve been hanging on to a dead laptop drive for six years. “The best data recovery”

I lost my files due to a virus that infected my PC. Those files are so vital that all my clients' information and important docs are stored in that one section. I was so nervous, because not recovering those files would eventually result to lose of revenues for the next six months. I have to start all over again. “DECEITFUL COMPANY !!”

On 6/23/11, we mailed overnight a 4G flash drive that we could not retrieve data from. This f/d had at least 18 months worth of personal and business information of at least 10 clients and this company was so slack in safe-guarding this information. Unbelievable! After not hearing from them in about a week, we called. Found out that the Atlanta location could not repair it so they shipped it via FEDEX to their hqts. in NY. I am a computer consultant who deals with over 400 companies and frequently has a need for data recovery. My mac crashed about a month ago. After researching multiple data recovery companies I decided on WeRecoverData.com. I should have gone elsewhere. My case took about 3 days to open from the initial time my harddrive was received. I finally recieved an email May 3rd saying that they have an estimate. $2400. What is this, an MRI? RIDICULOUS. “Quoted Fee $500 to $5000 turned into $15000”

We are novice at this recovery thing but we call and found the estimated costs would be between $500 to $5000. The drive was sent and they check the drive stating "The medium was found to have physical problems. The medium has to be disassembled and reverse engineered by our R&D team. Using our own proprietary procedures we believe the recovery will be successful." The cost $15,000 (not $1,500). Oh, by the way, it would take between 1 to 2 months. Really! (read more)

WeRecoverData.com is the best in terms of fast turnaround. My company needed the files retrieved asap and they did not disappoint us. I sent them the request and in less than one week I got a message from their customer service that everything is done. I appreciate the fact that I didn't have to make a follow-up call or email just to know the status of the retrieval. I am such a busy person so doing so would interfere with my business transactions. “I sent a drive to them to recover, they charged my...”

I sent a drive to them to recover, they charged my card. Kept the drive for 2 weeks, kept telling me everything looks good everytime I called.
All of a sudden I get an email, "I am emailing to inform you that we have determined it is not technically possible to recover your data"
I had someone check this drive before and they said it was not repairable, the guy was able to tell me that within 24 hrs. Yet it takes werecoverdata 2 weeks? and an additonal charge of $250!

I found this review very helpful because... sadly, I can take consolation in seeing I'm not the only one getting screwed by these halfwits. I'm curious as to which lab in what city you were dealing with as well?

the russian woman in charge of the office said if they don't recover there would be no charge. she said she personally would make it worth my while. well, she did, but, at the same time she was the one walking bow legged out of the back room not me!
