We bought our Samsung Frig for Christmas 2008. March 2009, 15 months old Frig goes out. Call Samsung, they give top 2 rep's phone number's. Call 1st on list, Mr. Appliance. Mr. Appliance tells us control board is bad & not under warrenty. Mr. Appliance changes board charges $376 dollars. Next day Frig still not cold. Mr. Appliance says compressor is bad & they do not have equipment to fix. Then we call 2nd on rep list Turner Appliance. Turner fix's frig & it is under warrenty. To make a long… Read Full Review

The Samsung RS265LBBP is a stylish looking fridge. It has easy control settings which help in adjusting the temperature. Additionally it also has a new style of door freezer on the bottom which looks really cool. We had purchased it in May 2010 and till now we haven’t had any kind of problems. … Read Full Review

“Has both negatives and positives”

Written on: 30/01/2012 by Latence81 (1 review written)

The Samsung RS265LBBP is very good looking and it is also very spacious. I brought the grey coloured one and it really complements my kitchen look. However negatives are that it doesn't have a smooth finish and is really pricey. Plus it isn't metal. … Read Full Review

The Samsung RS265LBBP is a great looking fridge. It has easy to use temperature control settings and the new style of droor freezer on the bottom. We've had ours over a year now and have had no problems at all. I like that I can easily pull out the shelves and stick them in the dishwasher if there is a spill or anything like that.

If there was anything I'd want added it was the Samsung app to keep track of the freshness of food in the fridge, but the ones with the LCD screens cost another… Read Full Review

I could go on about the poor performance for days. Testing, using accurate temperature instruments, replacing parts (fans, temp sensors, etc), nothing fixed this fridge. I realized I was far from alone when I searched the web for info on other similar complaints. Save yourself the hassle, even with an extended warranty, DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR… Read Full Review

i Have To Agree, I have had more problems with mine since warrenty went, it keeps frezzing up on frg side i been trying to find a heater for it, or that is what the service man told me was out on it, it cost me 70.00 to just find out that he dont service Samsung because they are basicly good looking junk, I wish i never got mine, and i am now out 1500.00 for it and that was getting it at lowes that DONT even know Who can Service These.

Owned a Samsung RS265LBBP for 13 months and the freezer stopped worked. Cost 40% of the cost of the refrigerator to fix it. The circuit boards fail. Then the ones they replace them with fail. My advice: don't waste your money on this product… Read Full Review

Written on: 10/12/2007 by Joanie (1 review written)

I had a magnet on the fridge as I usually do, and to prevent scratches, I had a piece of rubberized shelving liner under it.
When I removed the magnet to add something to my calendar, I was surprised that the piece of liner left an imprint. I could not rub it out with a non-abrassive cleaner. Instead it made marks, took out the color and discovered that the metal was underneath, and plastic was the top layer. So disappointing!
Not like other refrigerators we have had. This was not cheap, but a… Read Full Review
