Good Points: food well presented.
Bad Points: felt rushed between the courses. starter course cleared and mains arrived therefore not giving enough time to soak in the mabience of the restaurant. But that is my only adverse comment. The rest was supberb.
General comments: Graze is a very well presented restaurant, priced for everyday and not just special occasions.

Graze has changed it's concept a couple of times since it opened. This latest one, in my opinion, is the best yet. It is probably the best value food in Derby. Forget the 2 for 1 deals this is excellent, expertly cooked food at a great price.
I had Mushroom tartlet with 'crispy egg ' followed by beautifully pink lamb with diced aubergine and aubergine caviar. My partners meal was equally good. Without wine the bill came to under £20 for the two of us. However we did have an excellent b ...- Read ipp123's review (119 words)

When walking down Derby's restaurant quarter you can't fail to miss Graze. With its almost black interior and polished surfaces it exudes a classy atmosphere yet is down to earth and quite relaxing. The decor isn't what I'd normally expect from a restaurant and I admit it took me a while to appreciate this difference but by the end of the night it had really made an impression on me.With ten members of the Derby based Ladies Night Out Club present we were seated at one long table, served our fi ...- Read LadiesNightOutClub's review (630 words)

Although this is a lovely restaurant I do feel that compared to other restaurants available in the city, the prices are not really justified.
However, with this said, I would be happy to go again with a large group of friends.- Read janeyjenko's review (60 words)

I ate at Graze this week and was blown away. Its kinda classy yet relaxed. Our meals where terrific, and I noticed from the previous persons comments that I also had a similar choice and I must say their comments certainly don't reflect my own experience. The Turkey was delicate yet bursting with flavour and the flakey pastry was the best I've ever had. I just want to say thanks to the whole team at Graze. It was definitely a night to remember. And cheap at half the price. I will definitely be g ...- Read dernitz's review (119 words)

Well we booked as a group party of 10 people for a little works doo, we had the Festive menu.
The quantities are ideal, infact larger than i had expected.
The taste of food is superb and it is nice to know they use local produce.
The range of foods on offer is great too, a great drinks list too.
Infact every one in the party was overwhelmed with the experience of this restaurant, and we will be back, infact myself and my partner are coming back next month to sample another fine meal. ...- Read mike16's review (156 words)

I booked a 'Festive Dinner' with some friends and was really looking forward to the meal. I chose the restaurant on the basis of the reviews and also the fact that it still had availability quite close to the date I wanted. We all chose the fishcakes to start which were quite nice but nothing special and I think the presentation was quite poor (a few lettuce leaves with the chilli jam drizzled across the plate). The main meals ordered were mostly turkey with stuffing. A better description would ...- Read jayelle's review (332 words and 1 comment)

the whole place is stunning its actually one of the best designed restaurants I've seen, the food has become better and better over time and the once new restaurant in derby is taking over as one of the best for value, food, and service.
while the current economic crisis goes on it seems that the managers of graze seem to have taken a risk in taking less profit for the general public, as when i was there before the prices were a little high, but live and learn they seem to know the derby public ...- Read Guest's review (125 words)

While the service was good the food left a lot more to be desired.......
I started with a potato and leek soup which was bland and wasnt very hot.
The steak I had for main course was nice although there were no vegetables served with it, only jacket wedges which was a little disapointing and no mention of any mustard to go with it.
The Tiramisu that I had for sweet was the strangest I have ever had. It was dry and bland and spread over the plate - strange.
As to the wine list, it is very ove ...- Read Simonkoi1's review (176 words)

My boyfriend and I decided to go out for a meal on the spur of the moment one Friday night. We hadn't booked a table anywhere,so jumped into a taxi and thought we'd decide once in town. The taxi dropped us off opposite Graze and neither of us had noticed it before so decided to have a look. We were pleasantly surprised, it was a stunning restaurant with a very modern and classy interior. We managed to get a table without booking and were seated by the window, looking out onto the courtyard ...- Read Guest's review (226 words)

We booked a table for 4 on Saturday afternoon at Graze in Derby and got the very last table (apparently the restaurant becomes fully booked every Saturday night, so book in advance).New menu offers great value for money. We had 3 courses for £16.95 - how can you beat that for price for a first class meal.Excellent atmosphere with 2 jazz guitarists providing background music.Best restaurant in Derby!- Read Phil from Derby's review (97 words)

When I read the rest of the reviews, I began to question whether we are all talking about the same restaurant. I visited Graze on two occasions, once when it first opened, second in December and I was not impressed. Main courses were OK both times, but starters and desserts unexciting and the presentation did not quite match the lovely large plates they were brought on. The service is fast but lacks flair.- Read Gustator's review (82 words)

Great decor/furniture etc.Food was delicious. Everything cooked perfectly( opinion obv.), food was exceptionally warm, plates were hot, very well presented, great size portions, fantastic price for what it is, £14/ £15 for a 3 course meal in the happy hour between 6 & 7 . Definitely worth a trip, 8 of us went, ranging from over 80 years old to a 16 year old, for an 18th birthday, all loved it. you won't be disappointed. Not enough atmosphere because has only recently opened, therefor ...- Read Bob Spoongfield's review (88 words)

Went to Graze in Derby last night with my wife, it was our first visit, we had 2 courses for 14.95, cheaper if you don't have the Ribeye like we did! The guy who served us was really friendly and informative about the menu, he suggested the Steak for maincourse and I have got to say it was the nicest meal I have had for ages, the meat was really tender, and cooked properly with chunky chips and lashings of peppercorn sauce. It was really really nice. Well done Graze - will be back next time I am ...- Read concorde's review (110 words)

Graze restaurant in Derby is probably one of the best in Derby for a high quality cuisine experience.I have lived in Derby all my life and have eaten and most of the restaurants within the City centre. This restaurant has got to be in the top three. It has everything for a relaxed, high quality total dining experience - great location, superb menu complimented by a wide range of excellent wines, in a setting with a wonderful ambience. Will I be returning? -Without a shadow of a doubt!
