“Horrible Experience”

The only reason I gave this company a star is because they have a great agent chat option. This company has been horrific from the very beginning. I purchased 2 tickets listed at $135 and with all the fees came out to $336.82. I only did it because my family and friends wanted to sit together at a certain concert. If i could give 0 stars i would. I purchased 2 tickets to an event that were $100 each. We get to the venue and the tickets are rejected because "they have already been scanned by another attendee." Therefore, the tickets that i bought were duplicates and completely not genuine. I call the customer service at vivid seats about 4 times before reaching an actual person, then i get put on hold for a total of 30 minutes (all while the event is going on). I bought tickets for the Andy Black concert in Atlanta and the tickets were originally $24 everywhere else and on this horrid website as well. When I went to purchase them it said $63 which I assumed included all the fees and stuff that accompany tickets, they charged me $163.38 for these 2 tickets and I demand a refund but their customer service is the absolute worst thing in the history of customer service! bought tickets to take my 8 year old daughter to see Justin Beiber for the 730 show. I received a confirmation at 731 but didnt receive the tickets until 20mins later. The concert had started while we were waiting outside the venue and my daughter was crying she is missing the show. I called customer service to help but they were usless.. “Make sure to look at service fee”

This company charges A hefty charge for their service fees and they do not even mention service fees on the first few pages of your order summary. They charge almost $50 per ticket. To me this highway robbery, especially because they deliver the ticket via email, thus the delivery cost is almost nonexistent. Vivid said the tickets would be picked up at a Casino in Vegas. I thought this meant the Casino had tickets that were available. I purchased the tickets only to be told to pick them up on the corner at a Walgreens near the stadium. Had I known this I would have never purchased the tickets. Horrible! I bought two tickets to a Canadian concert in Toronto. Nowhere was it stated that I would be charged in American $. They knew I was Canadian since they had asked for my postal code! I contacted their customer service to get a refund and they said they could only refund me 7$ since I had agreed to the terms and conditions. I had agreed to pay 162$ not 216$! First I ordered five tickets to Cubs/Brewers game a month in advance and I kept asking when they would arrive. Answer was that they haven't shipped yet for a couple weeks. Finally they sent a tracking number for a UPS 2nd air from three weeks prior ! Checked with UPS and last scan was at UPS DC from three weeks prior. SO NOT USE THIS SITE!!! I ordered 2 Garth Brooks tickets through Ticketmaster and somehow without noticing was redirected to Vivid Seats. Order the tickets and when I received the bill was charged 3 times more that the actual ticket price. Ten weeks after I ordered the tickets and 48 hours prior to the event I still had not received the tickets by e-mail or any other means. I purchased $600 plus tickets to surprise my fiancé for his birthday to the Laker game on 2/19/16. We arrived at Staples Center to find out that our tickets are no good and we can't get in. We were lined up on the side of the venue with a group of other customers with tickets from that couldn't get in either. Vividseats main website does not disclose their Service Fees of $25 Per Ticket! I did not find out about it until after I hit Enter to place my order, and the total came out higher than what it should have been. I live-chatted with them to cancel my order, but they would not do that. NEVER EVER EVER will I do business with them again. “Prepare to wait”

When selling tickets be prepared to wait two weeks from the delivery date to have the money credited to your paypal account. Other sites return the funds within 5 calendar days to paypal accounts. This is verified on their website.....7-10 business days is the timeframe for credits. This is unacceptable to me. Won't use them in the future for selling… Read Full Review
