Good Points: Looks good. Starts first kick. Ideal for what I use it for. Enough power for my purposes; not interested in going more than 30 mph.
Bad Points: None really, but obviously not the quietest, being a two stroke.
General comments: I bought my first scooter in November 2005; a second hand Honda City SH50. I was then 65 years old, and this was my first ever motorbike. I could ride this with my car license of course. This had large wheels, which was ideal, as I mainly travel on narrow country roads or lanes with the odd pot hole, etc. After a year of never letting me down, and just over 1000 miles, I decided to buy a new Piaggio Liberty 50 cc. Once again, because it has large wheels. Up until January this year, I had done 916 miles. My longest trip so far is 89 miles. As I live in Hereford, on the border with Wales, I like going sightseeing up in the mountains, etc. The scenery is spectacular. I plan my trips, and fitted a GPS unit to the handlebars where the L.H. rear view mirror should be. I fitted a top box behind the seat, so I have plenty of space to carry a petrol can, etc. So now I am looking forward to some good weather to do more trips. Hope I never break down when out of transmitter range of my mobile phone when I am up in the mountains; hasn't let me down yet, so fingers crossed !
