Sansa Fuze is a nice little player.
Sound quality is excellent. Good design. Low price. Very compact and light. Feels nice in your hand. Controls are easy to use. Software menus and navigation are fairly easy once you get to know them. No complaints but I would prefer the 'Folder' view to be at the top of the list above Artist or Album views which I never use, and it is silly that the volume is crippled if you tell it you are in Europe (you can Reset and then say you're outside of Europe to get full volume). It plays FLAC as well as MP3 and other formats. It says it can play video but I haven't managed to do that, but I only want it for music (video on such a tiny screen seems pointless). One excellent feature is the MicroSD card slot, so you can add more memory easily. Somebody mentioned that it takes time to scan your songs but that is not really a problem because it only does that when you insert a new card or disconnect from your PC. Another nice feature is the voice recorder, which is quite reasonable quality. You can also listen to and record the radio. Battery lasts for ages (not sure exactly but at least 20+hours).
