    Good Points: none.


    Bad Points: looks like a jumble sale and have the same non return policy. outdated and not at all helpful when dealing with customers.


    General comments: They don't offer money back if you change your mind... something which is standard everywhere else and they also don't have any contact numbers for your to complain of query. If you happen to buy goods and return Sports Centre Direct, you don't get your money back. it makes you think twice about purchasing anything at all.

    We were given incorrect information and informed that our credit note could be used online yet we are unable to do this also. This company is a joke!

    Bought Adidas golf shoes from Sports Centre Direct supposedly £59.99 down to £29.99.
    Got them home and found they were plastic. Packaging is generic and does not state materials. Returned them next day to discover no refund would be given, only a gift card or exchange.
    Their attitude is dire, will only ever shop there again to spend the damned gift card !

    I ordered a goalkeepers top and gloves in April 2008. These were out of stock so I cancelled the orded and bought from another supplier. I was suprised that when I received my next bank statement that the money, £49.93, had been taken from my account. Since then I have been trying to have my money refunded but without any success.     Ordered a football kit from Sports Centre Direct for my sons xmas present, received no reply via email and when I phone, I get placed on hold for upto 40 minutes. Worse than British Gas in my experience!

    Had ordered our order since March, for a basketball kit, was told that the wait was due to the company being out of stock. Also told we needed to pay more because of embroidery wasn't paid for - for finishing touches, money was taken from the account that week. Still no order received. We called on numerous occasions and emailed - they replied each time saying that the order had not yet been dispatched and that this may take another week.... Still waiting...

    Attempted to order goods from www.sportcentredirect.com and my money was promptly taken.
    I contacted them after 14 days and was told the items are on the way... nothing received.
    I contacted 20 days later to just a ringing phone line!
    Then surfed the web to discover this company is continuously duping people so I have contacted Consumers Advice who have suggested I quote the distance trading legisaltion 2000 to them and I have also contacted Watchdog as this is unaceptable. Luckily I have onlt l ...

    Ordered goods 3 weeks ago, money taken but nothing has been received yet. Managed to get through to them by phone once, to be told order is on its way. Have e-mailed and tried to phone again but received no contact.

    Website is not coming up now and cant get through by phone, seems permanently engaged.

    like other reviews here, not received goods from Sports Centre Direct and have not received a refund yet, after over 2 months. 'customer services' have seemed unhelpful to me, just giving a new delivery date/excuse.

    I ordered a £300 football kit for my junior team off this firm. They promised the kit would be delivered within 2 weeks in mid Sept 2008. It is now 18th November. They use all sorts of excuses to emails such as staff not in the office and sorry I didn't reply our server is down. They promise the earth. If anybody has ordered anything from this firm don't kid yourself...if your order is anything like mine you will get nothing but grief..Contact Citizens advise and trading standards right aw ...

    Basically I ordered a £300 football kit for a Junior team. I was still waiting for it 2 months later and cancelled the order but they sent an unwanted single item. They have promised the earth and seemingly tried to stall me into reporting the matter to the credit card company.     I ordered boys trainers in may 2008, in june they sent me girls trainners. i returned them and they said they would send me the right ones. by the end of july i asked for a refund as i had not received them. many phone calls to and emails. but no refund. this week i phoned them to talk to the boss and ask for my money back. the man on the phone said i am the boss, so i asked him for my money back ..he just laughed at me and put the phone down. never buy from this company..

    I ordered some football shorts and socks on 7th September and was advised to expect them within 2 weeks. After four weeks and various calls I was told they had been dispatched. One week later and I had received nothing, I was advised they were lost in transit! I was then advised that they were in stock and a replacement would be with me within 3 days. Still received no delivery, today I have been told that they were only re-ordered on Monday and will be dispatched next Monday.

    I ordered a set of football kits over the internet in May. I was told they would take 2 weeks. They did not arrive after 6 weeks so I had to cancel the order. It is now October and I still have not received a refund yet. They keep saying a cheque will be sent out.
    I strongly do not recommend this company.

    Ordered 16 tracksuits from Sports Centre Direct for our under 9s football team after waiting over 4 weeks they landed wrong sizes plus different ones from what we ordered I was told I would have to pay to return them within the 7 days which I did that was on the 14th aug 2008 after many phone calls and emails have just been told that its the accounts department I need.     I placed an order in March. The medals I ordered were discontinued so I cancelled them. The trophy I received was not the one I had ordered so I returned it and requested a refund (they put payment through for the whole order despite never receiving the medals) and was told I would receive a refund in 30 days. I still have not received my money back and have been told by my bank that too much time has passed for them to help me. Has anyone ever received a refund and if so how?!

    Order placed for some goalie trousers beginning September, money taken Immediately (Obviously) no sign of order despite being sent twice (Supposedly)...Despatch team depending on who you talk to open at 2pm or 4pm..or do they even exist ???? Not once have they ever returned any of my 10 calls... Hopefully you don't make the same mistake as us and order before reading these reviews....

    Ordered a Legea Kit from Sports Centre Direct which was not in stock and substituted by a Macron kit. The quality of the kit is poor and three tops ripped on the first wearing. The socks shrunk after the kits first wash.

    Complained to no avail, I just received seemingly flippant remarks. Never received an invoice yet either, even though I have requested one at least 5 times.

    we ordered a football kit plus 2 jackets on the 8/8/2008 and haven't heard anything since we had to contact them to see where the kits were only to be told that they had fallen out with the suppliers and we were to order another kit. since then we've heard nothing, when we rang again we were told they'd be with us in the next 2days. we didn't receive them and when we rang again they were being printed, we didn't even order printing! still received no kits yet, I've now asked for a refund but app ...

    I ordered a Legea football kit from SCD. They took the order and payment. I was then called to say they could not get the kit and offered another make - which i declined and was told they would refund the money. Despite waiting nearly 60 days i have had no refund as of yet! Each time I call, their accounts team is always at lunch, day off, or in a meeting.

    I feel as though Sportscentredirect has let me down bigtime. I now have an U10's football team without a kit. Ordered the kit ( £170) on 26th July, could not meet the order and I was told I would receive a refund. I have never received a reply to any email correspondence, they have promised to refund my VISA and this now well after the 30 day refund on their terms and conditions. Each time I have thought I was getting somewhere, nothing. I have now engaged VISA disputes.
