We have been buying this particular wine for years. We have tried many others but prefer the Merlot the best. We are particularly unhappy that this product is being replaced by something else. We have tried the replacement and do not like it as much. The replacement is too bubbly, we like the body of this wine.

If you try to compare this wine to a true Merlot, you're missing the point. There are a variety of reasons why you might like to drink a wine like beverage but cannot/should not have the alcohol. This Merlot is the closest thing to it. Hands down. Not overly grapey and not sweet it complements a nice grilled or roasted dinner well.

In comperison with another non-alkoholic wines, Carl Jung Merlot is not bad, but it is definitely diferent from real wine. There is to much associations with a juice.

Carl Jung Merlot non alcoholic wine is as close to the real alcoholic thing as you can get.

I'm a mum to be and decided to complete get rid of the alcohol to be on the safe side ... with non alcoholic wine like this it becomes a lot easier, a deep taste and it actually tastes like a Merlot, good depth of flavour
