Can I start off by saying I wanted to give Fonesafe no stars however the site wouldn't allow it.
I will NEVER use Fonesafe again and would discourage anyone thinking of using them from signing up.
If like me, you take out phone insurance to give you piece of mind, then don't purchase a Fonesafe policy.
My phone ended up in my dark washing pile and went through the washing cycle. When I pulled out the clothes, I noticed the phone in with the washing and was devastated (my husbands wedding speech was on there). I honestly could not believe it when I was told my claim had been declined. The promotion material for Fonesafe clearly state accidental and liquid damge is covered, so I didn't consider for one moment there would be an issue (Its £8.99 per mth plus excess for crying out loud).
The lady on the phone said that in the Terms and Conditions it clearly states that washing machine damage is not covered - nice to know, considering I've never received any terms and conditions.
I am livid. Do not use them. Clearly from all the posts, the most basic claim will be rejected.

My daughter had her mobile stolen from her handbag by a Fijian soldier who then went on to make abusive calls to her and also ran up a £397 bill phoning Fiji. This phone was reported missing within the hour and was also reported to the police. TMobile told my daughter that she could make the claim through Fonesafe. . .this she did. She was told that her claim would be covered but then received a letter from Fonesafe saying that as she was in a nightclub she was obviously drunk and therefo ...- Read resolve64's review (122 words)

I accidentally damaged my business blackberry and had to pay £30 for a replacement....fair enough. All transactions were done in the original store (T-Mobile Bedford)
The New blackberry stopped working 2 weeks ago. No damage, no water damage, nothing....just a blank screen and no idea who was calling me or what I was doing.
Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance won't replace it as it's a 'warranty issue', T-Mobile Store can't send it off because 'there's no option on the system to do so'
I am ...- Read Guest's review (125 words)

My daughter also had her phone stolen whilst at the swimming baths. Despite cctv evidence of suppicious activity and reporting the theft to the police. Fonesafe said that as my daughter had not been in possession of her phone whilst in the baths that we could not claim. The insurance was taken out at the time the Phone was bought from T-Mobile in Widnes only because the salesman assured us that we would be covered under all eventualities. What a laugh (at my expense). I believe that I have been ...- Read Guest's review (109 words)

DO NOT USE FONESAFE!!!
I would like to give this company minus 5 stars if I could!
They would not replace my damaged and unusable LG Shine last year and now are fobbing me off with excuses about my G1, even though it was stolen from me and they claim to insure against theft. My dad has been paying for me and my brother's phone through T-Mobile for the past couple of years which comes to £300+.
What a complete waste of money. I am definitely not renewing my contact with T-Mobile either s ...- Read Guest's review (114 words)

Paid 6.99 per month for 2 years and never made a claim. My daughter got her phone stolen in locker at swimming baths on holiday whilst putting some of her clothes in a cubicle someone took her phone out of the locker. Reported it to the police and did everything by the book and fonesafe declined my claim saying that "there is no claim because the phone was left unattnded in a public place". Can you believe it!!!!!!! So I asked them if someone broke into my house and stole my handbag would tha ...- Read Guest's review (150 words)

I too made a claim having accidentally left mobile in pocket of wet jeans after a heavy rainfall; then placed all my wet clothes into the wshing machine. Have been a customer since 2006 and never made a claim. I have always taken care of my phone but have been informed that I am careless!! Claim refused by fonesafe. Thinking now about further action.- Read Guest's review (63 words)

My phone was stolen I reported it to police and tmobile. As tmobile are partner company with fonesafe when I reported it to them it went on fonesafes blacklist therefore I had reported it to all parties. They rejected claim saying I did not report it to them even thow tmobile did. When I called tmobile they insisted that fonesafe are an independent company and have nothing to with them but if you call their number the first thing you hear is welcome to phonesafe trading partner of tmobile. One day the speaker on my C905 sony erricson decided to stop working. This made my phone virtually unusable as i could not recieve calls unless on speakerphone. I had not dropped/damaged the phone in any way, but figured my insurance would cover this - wrong! I took out a contract for my son via t-mobile and took the recommended insurance. Tmobile knew this phone was for my son. Now 8 months later the phone has suffered screen damage and fonesafe refuse to honour the policy because the phone was in my son's possession and not mine at the time the damage occurred. I was not informed when tmobile sold me the insurance that the phone would only be covered whilst in my possession as I would not have taken it. so effectively I have been paying all the ...- Read ThatKat's review (113 words)

Have just had to cancel with Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance as they were taking Direct Debit payments when they shouldn't have been (taking too much, random dates). Have now spent the last 3 weeks trying to get a refund, faxes keep going 'missing' and keep getting different stories from their representatives when trying to sort out. Insurance can be found cheaper elsewhere.- Read Guest's review (72 words)

Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance are the worse phone insurance company i have ever used and are incapble of dealing with any problems i had with my phone. i lost my phone so i claimed a new one and they sent me one that was faulty i sent it back twice for them to repair and still no joy. they will not replace the phone again even though it was them who gave me a broken phone so there was no point at all for me paying insurance to them!!- Read Guest's review (93 words)

My phone was stolen and then they ran up a bill of over £90 on my phone within the first hour of taking it! I have been trying to sort out my claim for airtime abuse with very little cooperation from fonesafe mobile phone insurance. It seems I have had to do all the work in terms of finding out information from T mobile and I have ended up jumping through hoops just for them to find yet another thing for me to do before they can sort it out. Totally unacceptable! I have written a letter o ...- Read ejanetb's review (161 words)

I made a claim to Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance a year ago because i had lost my phone, and i hadn't told them that i had a new IMEI number. They were fine with it and said all i had to do was get t-mobile to send a fax to confirm that i had infact changed my phone, and all was resovled, i got my replacement. Fast forward one year, after still paying the £6.99 a month, and i am in the same situation- although, this time, they are refusing to do it! I had my phone in my handbag and looked at it the following day to notice that the screen had been cracked. I contacted Fonesafe insurance to let them know a couple of days later - I had not been able to contact them sooner due to being quite busy at work. The person at Fonesafe who took my call said he would have to decline my claim as I had not reported the damage 48 hours after it had happened. I immediately cancelled my insurance.
All I can say is if you decide to take out insurance with fon ...- Read helenfoz's review (134 words)

My Phone fell into a pool of water. I claimed within the fonesafe 48 hours, but was told the handset IMEI on their database was not the same as the damaged handset!
Despite the fact that I could prove the history of the handsets and that the IMEI they had was exchanged by T-Mobile the claim has been refused on the grounds that I had not informed them of the change of handset.- Read dasc's review (86 words)
