Kept me on the phone for over 30 mins when they must have known at the beginning of the claim that they were going to refuse the insurance (I had left it more than 10 working days between the incident and the claim!) and this was one of the first questions that they asked me. (read more)

Paying £8.99 per month, you'd expect to have someone come to your house take the phone off you and give you a replacement straight away, I disagree with the fact that you have to go to the Post Office to get it delivered (howver a positive note it's been paid for by the company). I disagree with being without a phone for two days and having to pay £30 to even make a claim anyway on-top of what you pay per month. Maybe I was one of the lucky ones but the girl who spoke to me was friendly and helpful, was even OK with me sending in my handset 2 weeks after my claim date as I was busy and out the country. Sent my phone off on Tuesday afternoon and a brand new handset arrived on my desk on Friday morning. Only complaint is I had to pay for the postage despite it being freepost, but that's the Post Office biddys fault not fonesafe. Always read the small print when it comes to insurance or taking out... This is the by far the worst customer service I have ever received. Instead of being able to sufficiently deal with a complaints over the phone they require you to come in and waste more time than necessary. If you want to pay for unhelpful and rude customer service then this is the company to purchase from. As soon as I recieve my upgradr I will not be using this company again! (read more)

Well franky I was panicking after reading lots of negative reviews. I lost my phone yesterday, reported more or less straight away. And this morning my new phone arrived. No it was not an old crappy one. It was a brand new upgraded model of the one I lost. Very Very happy expecially as I am 4 wekks from my contract finishing. First time i've ever made a mobile phone insurance claim and i was surprised to see how quick and efficient it was. I had the cover through my natwest advantage gold account, i dropped my phone on the 8/01/13 whilst out shopping and smashed the screen. My phone dropped out of my pocket and the screen cracked. I phoned up last Wednesday 2/1/2013 and they sent a special pre paid envelope to send my phone off. When I took out my knew contract with t-mobile, they offered me insurance, I thought why not I couldn't bare anything going wrong with my iPhone. They never informed me that the insurance was with another other company. My business phone was stolen five days ago and a policeman accompanied me to the T Mobile store to report it stolen (he had tried calling it and the person who had it hung up and turned the phone off). I dropped my iPhone 4s and was told that a new one would be sent out wothin 5 working days after being on the phone for 50 minutes after 1 week I am still waiting and have paid £50 I called them up today and was told that it could take up to another 3-4 days. My husbands LG phone with T-Mobile is insured through 'Fonesafe.' We have never claimed on phone insurance before so we were a bit unsure of the procedure. Unfortunately we had to recently because we lost/stolen the phone somewhere between Birmingham Airport and Antalya in Turkey where we went on holiday. Called to cancel my policy June 8th, was advised I had to give 4 weeks notice so 1 more payment was required - fair enough. But the policy hasn't been cancelled and they are still charging me. And there is no notes from when I called. I have now cancelled the direct debit so they can continue to try and apply for payments because they won't be getting anymore money from me. (read more)

I just claimed my phone for liquid damage, I asked tmobile ages ago but the lady said I should wait for the account holder so I did and now when I called they declined my claim because of the time space. Seriously and the lady was telling me it's my fault I took it in the bath with me and cause of the time space. I honestly can not fault this company. On Monday 21st someone bumped into me and I dropped my phone. My HTC wildfire S dropped onto the pavement and the screen smashed. Absolutely shocking service. I was coaxed into this insurance by t-mobile, much to my regret. Do not believe you will get a brand new replacement phone within 48 hours. It's false advertising. You will get a re-furbished phone and so far I have waited a month for mine! I have had the same thing happern to me!! What ever you do do not use Fonesafe. I had my phone stolen over 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a replacement. After reporting the theft of my phone to the police I contacted Fonesafe to make a claim, all went well to start with. we don't make reviews out of annoyance... what you are saying sounds pretty weird to me... I have made a claim and 7 days later they said they require additional information and they will get back to me within another 10 days... it's very weird that out of all the people you were sorted immediately. I believe this company is fraudulent to say the least and its terms and conditions are amongst the unfairest of all the insurances. Please do not get this insurance as you will never have your claim approved! Please do not take it even if it's for free because that will prevent you from buying an honest insurance and truly protect your phone. iPhones are very expensive and these people never pay out, they will interrogate you until they find a stupid reason to decline your claim. There are hundreds of people out there that they all confirm that even if their claims were not declined.... they wouldn't get a new phone/ replacement sometimes for months after the intial claim!!! Just to add some balance to the negative reviews on here. My daughter lost her 2 month old £400 Nokia handset 2 weeks ago. Got the policy out read what we were supposed to do. Got all relevant informaion together and blacklisted the handsete with T-Mobile.
