“disgusting customer service”

Phone screen smashed on Tues 16.9.14. Filled in claim form and returned online on Wed 17.9.14. Eventually managed to contact them on Thursday 18.9.14. Told me I would have replacement by the weekend. Got home on the Friday to a pre-paid envelope to send my damaged phone off. No replacement as yet. Following a conversation yesterday 22.9.14 I was told my replacement would be dispatched today 23.9.14 but got a phone call from the company to tell me they have run out! “Brilliant seevice”

My 2 year old iPhone simply stopped chargingI filled in an online claim form on Wednesday , received a call later that day and paid £50 excess and a prepaid envelope arrived Friday in which I returned my very battered phone. A brand new I phone arrived yesterday . No hassle ,everything as promised by the call agent . I think that's top service .. Terrible compan.y in the end I just gave up with my phone problem and got out a new phone contract. Absolute waste of money. . After sending my phone of the 2nd time in the pre paid safe envelope they enclosed I never heard anything back tried to ring and no one seemed to know what the hell was going . Canceled my policy 2 years ago and had letter over a month ago stating changes to my policy. Rang them and asked why ihad this letter to find I have been paying for a phone that I haven't had for 2 year's. got told complaints department that do not work weekends would sort it out .got sent letter say looking in to my claim.2nd letter saying still looking in to my claim 28 days later. “Fonesafe - a shambles and a disgrace”

I have tried to get through to them 18 times in the last month since I received a letter with incorrect information relating to my policy and had to call them to get it updated. They are utterly useless. They do not have any staff to answer the calls and just send you to a queue. “Very poor 2nd hand replacement service ”

Fonesafe Mobile Phone Insurance. This company are rubbish, they send out second hand (refurbished) phones. I have been a customer for over 5 years without making a claim and when I lost my phone last week they sent me a scratched up 2nd hand phone that I had to pay £30 excess for. After speaking to the company they say they will replace it with another 2nd hand phone but I have to wait in all day for the courier 8am to 6pm so that they can take this scratched one back - probably to hand on… Read Full Review

Dropped my S3 and shattered screen and metal rim, luckily could still make calls. Rang phonesafe and they sent a returns bag within 3 days, repaired phone arrived two days later. Have had two claims sorted within the last three years with no problems! Service with fonesafe was friendly, swift and efficient! I looked on their website following my phone being pickpocketed and was told to report to the police and to my service provider (orange). I then rang fonesafe even though I couldn't find my insurance docs. The guy on the phone was really friendly and helpful despite my miserable mood on having no phone. this company blatently flaunts its lack of respect for its customers, there customer service is disgraceful, one member of staff I spoke to told me that they actively annoy customers so they will not follow up with there claim. “Too long to wait!!!”

I had bad luck with orange phones. They kept breaking but the insurance was brilliant. Delivered a replacement within a day and took the old one away. Now i am with tmobile i assumed i would get a similar service! I was wrong. Just been told they will send me an envelope. I have to post my broken phone to them. “Not getting value for money ”

Paying £8.99 per month, you'd expect to have someone come to your house take the phone off you and give you a replacement straight away, I disagree with the fact that you have to go to the Post Office to get it delivered (howver a positive note it's been paid for by the company). “Easy and Quick”

Maybe I was one of the lucky ones but the girl who spoke to me was friendly and helpful, was even OK with me sending in my handset 2 weeks after my claim date as I was busy and out the country. Sent my phone off on Tuesday afternoon and a brand new handset arrived on my desk on Friday morning. Only complaint is I had to pay for the postage despite it being freepost, but that's the Post Office biddys fault not fonesafe.
