“Terrible cover - phone replaced after more than 7 days”

I am really unhappy with this service and will be cancelling my policy as soon as I eventually receive a replacement phone. The time it takes to actually receive your phone is ridiculous - it will be about 10 days, and in the meantime, you are expected to wait without a phone, as you have to send it off for assesment. Who can do without their phone for days on end?? It's clear to me, Barclays are doing this to put people off claimimg, as the inconvenience factor is so great that people will go… Read Full Review

i have iphone 5s lost it in pub, i fulfill all the requirements. it was my first claim. i send prof of purchase, police report, locked my phone from network, its 15th day waiting for my phone. whenever i ask them they are having issue of prof of usage, mad, how the company locked my phone if its not belongs to me.sh_ _. if they send me now i ll straight away return it. i gonna cancelle my insurance now. better to go any cellular company`s insurance… Read Full Review

I made a claim for a cracked screen on a Galaxy S3 which I thought would be a fairly simple thing to repair! My Samsung Galaxy S4 recently suffered liquid damage and I sent the phone off to be accessed. I received an email stating that the phone was to be repaired. When the handset was returned the only part of my original phone left was the plastic back cover (I had a Black Edition with a Faux leather back). “Lost iPhone 5”

I lost my iPhone at around 4pm on a Monday and by Friday the same week a Apple refurbished iPhone 5 was delivered. The new phone was in perfect condition and came in an official box with all the accessories. The serial IMEI numbers on the box matched the phone and when I registered it with Apple it had 11 months Applecare warranty still left on the phone. I had a very good experience with Barclays tech pack. I insured my iPhone and camera about 18 months ago. After I dropped my Nokia 625 and cracked the screen, I sent it off to be repaired. Not too bad timwise. Sent it on the Tuesday, delivered back the following Monday. Was pretty happy with that. On it's return, the screen was fixed - perfect I thought. I'll pop my Sim card back in and be back buisness. then i noticed, the terminals on the sim slot. When my phone's screen cracked and i decided to go through barclay's insurance. I was shocked at first by reading the reviews online and was very reluctant to send my phone through to them, but since i paid monthly insurance i had to give it a try and it worked wonders! Very disappointed. I had to send my phone 2 times and still came back not working. When they finely sent me a new one I had to pay for to redelivery on a suitable day. I lost my phone during a Saturday night out and reported it to the insurance company first thing on Sunday morning. They advised me to notify the police to get a lost property number and to call my network provider to get a block put on my sim card. I did both those things on Sunday and insurance company said they would send me a claim form by email and/or post. Made a claim soon as my phone was stolen. Nice guy told me take about 48 hours. Two weeks later I am told by an operator that the higher fraud office is dealing. No one will tell me what's going on but I have had to supply statements, bills and passport. Still no luck. Fraud department!!! I am a police officer and never claimed for a new phone in my life. Barclay's Gadget insurance with LifeStyle Group is bad one i ever experienced ! dont ever get insured with LSG or Barclays. on 1st of every month at exactly 12:00 they will take insurance money from ur account but if you lost or damage ur thing and make a claim they will tell u that u did a big mistake that u got insurance with this stupid company, i made a claim before many days and every day call them to ask about the claim but they even not telling me anything ,,, every day telling me they… Read Full Review
