“LSG - Barclays - absolutely shocking outfit”

Absolutely shocking outfit. Sent me 3 faulty phones then offered a different phone that was not equivalent. I sent back the last faulty one which they received 2 weeks ago but they still can't confirm that they have it and won't pay out or replace. Had to go out and buy a new phone. Patronising staff that sound like they're reading from a script with there pathetic apologies and trying to discuss the weather with you. “Worst ever”

I have been insured with these guys for nearly 10 years this is my 1st time making a claim first of all they lost my firs claim form sent another which arrived within the next day I recorded an email stating that it would be assessed within 1 working day (LIE!!!) we are now on day 3 I've called up today to be told it's with the higher assessment people and they have no time limit even though when I rang yesterday I was told I'd hear from them later that evening.....it's an absolute joke there… Read Full Review

“Fast efficient service despite bad reviews ”

I was dissapointed to read the reviews once my samsung s7 had been damaged. It had the front and back screen cracked. I called the team on a Thursday got my phone in the post same day. Received an email by Friday acknowleding receipt of my phone. Following Monday received an email confirming my devise was repaired and it was back to me by Tuesday. Did your phone still work with the cracks? According to the policy, claims can only be made for damage which effects the functionality of the phone. My S7 also has a crack on the screen, but still works, so not sure of they'd repair it.

I have reported my phone lost and i have given every peice of information to barclays but still its not been resolved, Everytime i ring i am told its with the highter assesment team. Its been 3 weeks but i still have to wait. On top its a misleading company, as i recieved a email saying it will be reaolved it 24hours but it has not. Was not hopeful when read reviews... but I signed up and logged a claim a few mins later after my s7edge (aka glass bar of soap) screen smashed. One issue with getting the form...as could not see a link anywhere...but all sorted over the phone..phone sent off..20 pounds excess and £7 tracked postage my end. Had my iPhone 6 plus dropped on holiday even though the phone suffered no physical damage the phone kept turning itself off and then back on again (this would happen for hours) sent my phone off to barclays who claimed to have fixed my phone. I made a successful claim and it was all fine. However my original phone was handed to the Lost Property Office and I thought that was a great news!I found out that now a legal owner is the insurance company, so they are the ones who can collect the phone and then send it to me. “Third party parts”

So i get into my car close the door and my iphone 6 falls out my pocket and is bent and crushed in my car door. The claim process is labourous and lengthy. I was sending my phone off knowing they were going to be unable to fix it or salvage anything from the internal memory board as the phone was basically bent in half. any phones reiascved by law has to be wiped.. they dont re print imei numbers and if you read the the t/c to your account it states it dosnt use apple parts as pnly apple can use them..

I have never had to claim for a mobile phone that has been stolen/lost before and I am astonished at how difficult they make it. I thought I would be loyal to my bank and take out out Barclay's gadget cover WHAT A MISTAKE!!! They are happy for you to just register your phone fill in the relevant details and take your payment month after month but when you come to claim, It's then that you have to prove you actually own the phone you registered!! My iphone 6 was water damaged, water bottle tipped over the phone overnight didn't realise until the following morning. I made a claim on 07.09.15 , took a couple of days to obtain proof of purchase from my network provider. By the looks of this I'm in the minority but here it is anyway. Last summer broke my new iPhone 6. It was literally in half. Sent off a claim.
