I had a very good experience with Barclays tech pack. I insured my iPhone and camera about 18 months ago. Unfortunately I got robbed last wednesday night, I reported everything to the police right that night and on thursday evening I filled the online claim with Barclays, and I sent off the signed paper version just the next day, on friday. After I dropped my Nokia 625 and cracked the screen, I sent it off to be repaired. Not too bad timwise. Sent it on the Tuesday, delivered back the following Monday. Was pretty happy with that. On it's return, the screen was fixed - perfect I thought. I'll pop my Sim card back in and be back buisness. then i noticed, the terminals on the sim slot. I broke my Galaxy S4 screen while on holiday. logged in a claim on Thursday, called on Tuesday and they emailed my a claim form. called on Wednesday and was told to wait, Called Thursday and again was told to wait. Dropped my phone down the toilet, tried the rice trick which didn't work. Tried Reviveaphone which also didn't work. So decided to claim on my insurance. When my phone's screen cracked and i decided to go through barclay's insurance. I was shocked at first by reading the reviews online and was very reluctant to send my phone through to them, but since i paid monthly insurance i had to give it a try and it worked wonders! Very disappointed. I had to send my phone 2 times and still came back not working. When they finely sent me a new one I had to pay for to redelivery on a suitable day. I lost my phone during a Saturday night out and reported it to the insurance company first thing on Sunday morning. They advised me to notify the police to get a lost property number and to call my network provider to get a block put on my sim card. I did both those things on Sunday and insurance company said they would send me a claim form by email and/or post. Made a claim soon as my phone was stolen. Nice guy told me take about 48 hours. Two weeks later I am told by an operator that the higher fraud office is dealing. No one will tell me what's going on but I have had to supply statements, bills and passport. Still no luck. Fraud department!!! I am a police officer and never claimed for a new phone in my life. Vodafone said they would have replaced my phone as soon as I reported to police. Rude people. Filed a complaint but still no luck!!!… Read Full Review

Barclay's Gadget insurance with LifeStyle Group is bad one i ever experienced ! dont ever get insured with LSG or Barclays. on 1st of every month at exactly 12:00 they will take insurance money from ur account but if you lost or damage ur thing and make a claim they will tell u that u did a big mistake that u got insurance with this stupid company, i made a claim before many days and every day call them to ask about the claim but they even not telling me anything ,,, every day telling me they… Read Full Review

I dropped my samsung galaxy s3, the screen cracked and it wouldn't turn on at all. The phone wasn't even registered with barclays as I hadn't got around to doing it but they registered the phone there and then and sent me the claim form straight away via email. I downloaded a claims form from the LSG website and sent it off, two days later I received a letter saying they accept the claim. filled in the damage report and sent the phone (without sim card) next day post. On friends recommendation I signed up to Barclays current account plus about 3 years back. Me and wife have a joint account. We are out shopping and my wife lost her phone on a busy high street.
