Theses people are unbelievably useless. They have sent three faulty phones to me as replacement and are claiming there is nothing wrong with the third one they have sent. I am left with a phone that can not pick up signals and I are claiming there is nothing wrong with it. I paid about 4 month 6.99.i have contract with 3 iPhone 5s.after 4 month unfortunately I lost my phone.and I made a claim.first I expain whole incident over phone than they send me a claim forms to fill up.i fill up and email them.they took 2 days to access it.they ask me to provide proof of purchase and proof of usage. I have insurance with Switched On Insurance. When it came to making a claim I filled in all the details on the form and awaited an email/ call. I received an email a few days later saying I needed proof of purchase, which I thought would be no problem. I thought wrong. I got in touch with Virgin who said they'd send me a letter with my purchase date on and other details, the first letter they sent had the wrong details on. Guess what, the second did too! Being a customer that has been with Insurance2Go for a long time, I've experienced both Citymains paper and online claims process. The paper process seemed archaic and I think they realised this by changing to an online process. It's so simple, so easy, no hassle and no troubles. 2 working days to assess a claim is nothing considering the amount of customers hey have and I felt a valued customer come the authorisation of my claim. Cancelled my insurance with Citymain Administrators and received a very unprofessional letter from Buymobilephones.net saying the insurance had been cancelled and all payments would be cancelled from the date of the letter. do not get ur phone insured with this company it is a total waste of time they are happy to take ur money but not fix ur phone properly. the whole process takes around 4 weeks u mite as well buy a new phone with what it costs u with the excess charges and postage and delays recieving a phone. i had mine fixed well what i thought was fixed until i started making phone calls it kept cutting me off and then had to go through th whole process again so thats 2 months without a phone… Read Full Review

Helpful staff member to start off with over the phone, clarified what I could claim for and how long this would take in an approachable way. Later speaking through emails the first few were very prompt, slight lag after the first two or three however I think this was down to my phone provider and different matching serial codes (seriously double check these, if in doubt stick every bit of info you can in the email, saves a bunch of hassle!) after this was sorted, happy days sent off. I have had mobile insurance with this company for a few years now. Unfortunately I have had to make two claims in this time. The first time I had lost my mobile. After completing the claim form it took a few weeks and I was delivered a new phone. Customer service were always polite and helpful. I've had numerous insurance policies in the past and took this policy out for my daughters new HTC one which is on a 2 year contract. She's 17 and recently dropped it in the sink. I had water damage behind my phone after my iphone was in the rain all day. I didnt want to send my phone off tho as I new it would be a long process but went ahead with it anyway. I sent off the form which was from their website, and within 2 days the claim was authorised. I sent off my phone on next day delivery. I deliberately did not tick the part of a mobile phone agreement saying I wanted insurance cover, yet somehow ended up being billed by City Main for a product I didn't ask for. The bank will not cancel the Direct Debit, they say it has to come from City Main. All this, after I specifically didn't tick the box. I had my insurance with them and had my mobile stolen. After submitting a crime ref number they said it wasn't enough and that I had to show that I had physically attempted to fight the thief. Absolutely ludicrous. Don't waste your money. Customer service rubbish too… Read Full Review

“Waste of Money”

I purchased a platinum policy with City Main (£9.99 a month). 7 months into policy i had my bag stolen while abroad which contained my phone. I obtained a police crime number (took me 3 days of my holiday) and submitted a claim. 4 days after submitting the claim i received an email from city main stating the claim would not be processed due to the following hidden small print clauses:- 1. Under no circumstances should you purchase mobile phone insurance with City Main Administrators. 1. When my daughter dropped her phone I tried to make a claim. The process is longwinded and they will not pay out under any circumstances.! You might as well not have phone insurance. 2.
