    Good Points: Nice and light


    Bad Points: little bit on the noisy side


    General comments: The Stihl Petrol FS45 2-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter/Strimmer is a good Piece of kit, had 2 of them about 9 months now and no problems,starts first time.

    exellent small strimmer....i am a pro gardener and use this Stihl Petrol FS45 2-Stroke Petrol Brushcutter/Strimmer everyday...perfect for edging

    Having owned a 15 year old Stihl for many years until it finally died, this FS45 is very poor in comparison. It cannot cope with really long grass, goes though line at a rate of knots. Bump feed failed after the first few times of use and now the starter cable return spring has failed. Not impressed.

    Forget the rest, buy this Stihl Petrol FS45 and you won't be disappointed. Forget the sub £100 offerings from the high street, this is worth every penny extra for the £135.00 paid. The cable can cut through pretty thick grass and weeds, but for thicker weeds and more woody stalks, buy the optional polycut head which glides through thicket with ease. A quailty piece of kit and easy to start too.
