I bought the Beeman P17 last summer when I was bored and had a huge stack of old beer bottles I had to dispose of somehow. Though I had many options, the P17 stuck out to me as the weapon of choice.

I instantly fell in love with the gun and spent many hours shooting whatever I could find, and even bruised my hand from cocking it so much every day. It felt great in my (albeit oversized) hand, and shattered bottles like none other. The gun has a great deal of force and it's accurate enough to tak ...

I got one of the good ones. I've had this Beeman P17 for over two years and never had any problems. It shoots like a dream...excellent accuracy and super smooth trigger. Very good value.

Decided to buy this Beeman P17 pistol as looked and felt nice also reasonably priced for this manufacturer, however first one broke after a handfull of pellets took it back to my local dealer who contacted me after a few days and said beeman will replace the pistol for a brand new one rightly so! When i got this one home it too lasted all of about 20 shots and began leaking air all over the place.

Was looking for a used P3 - no luck in finding one; so when my local CT had a P17 on sale at 1/2 price ($49.95) - decided to try it out.

After a couple of weeks of shooting it; VERY happy with it! Added some white-out to the sights for improved visibility; also a red-dot sight for improved accuracy.

Good power; accurate; nice trigger; seems to be well-made - and lots of places to go for info IF it ever needs to be fixed (as there DO seem to be a lot with problems out there). ...

    Marksman 2004/Beeman P17/Beeman 2006(when sold w/ red dot sight)
    DO NOT BUY!!!
    Junk! Garbage! Trash!
Now don ' t get me wrong,. I ' m not one of those grumpy old men who thinks that everything is junk. There are still some real airgun values out there such as the Crosman 1377 and 2240. However, the Marksman 2004 also known as the Beeman P17 or the Beeman 2006 is a junk gun that works for about 10 minutes then starts leaking air from various places. How do I know? I tried several of them from s ...

The Beeman P17 is exactly the same gun as the 2004e I think just a different number stamped on it, maybe for a different market. Recently I have used multi shot C02 pistols, Walther cp99, Crosman 357 with 8 or 10 shot clips in them but I bought this Beeman to keep in my fishing box to see off Rats at close quarters. Obviously the Rats must know I have a new gun so they have kept away but firing at targets and cans in my back garden there is no doubt in my mind that it is more powerfull and accur ...

The gun in many respects is just a great little gun and fun to shoot, but the reliability leaves much to be desired. Contacted the store that I bought it from and they said bring it back.

Good accuracy due to long barrel, first shot same velocity as 50th 'cause no lower pressure in CO2 tanks to slow you down, good speed; 410 fps considering
