    Good Points: Whirlpool Dishwasher, Model 980, we have had great luck with this dishwasher. It cleans great, is fairly quiet.

    Bad Points: After three years the silver basket needs to be replaced. But this is the third home in which we have had a Whirlpool dishwasher.

    General comments: I don't know why the basket on our Philips 980 dishwasher broke, but I feel that is minor. I would buy another Whirlpool.
