Good Points: Very fast and leave less lead residue than lead pellet

Bad Points: VERY poor accuracy and Quality Control

General comments: Although the Silver Eagle was fast, the apparent lack of QC was obvious in not only the very bad groupings it produced, but also to the naked eye! You could actually look into the tin and see major defects in almost every pellet. Wall thickness varied greatly as well as many pellets were deformed or bent around the "skirt".Gamo PBA consistently groups with my rifle 1/2" @ 25yds. The Silver Eagle (flew more like a stoned fruit bat) and groups 12" @ 25yds.With that being said; For the money I do however like the Crosman Premier Hollow Point Hunting Pellet. (Much cheaper than PBA + better penetration)

These pellets where of inconsistant quality and performed as
you would expect, " all over the place". Picking thru the tin for
the best examples produced fair accuracy in my old HI-Score
rifle which produce around 725fps. power, up from around 600
fps. for most everything I've shot in lead. PBA's are a bett ...
