Thought I'd give these a try after one of my friends (does a lot of hunting) recommended them. First comment- when you open the tin you haven't been swindled, Crosman use the same tin for .22 and .177. This means there's a fair bit of emptiness with the .177s. This then gives the potential for pellet damage as they rattle around in the tin, but having said that I haven't found any. They are quite short chunky pellets, with a hollow nose from which protrudes a "spike". Clearly designed to... (read more)

Great pellet! I shot a squirrel with my Daisy 880 (which I have had for over a decade) from approx. 15 yards right in the head. Upon impact the squirrel fell from the tree and squirmed around for at most 15 seconds before completely dying. I shoot squirrels for pest control reasons but if I had been hunting he would not have gotten very far. (read more)

Great pellets, shot a rabbit at about 50-60 yds with the Gamo Big Cat 1200 and parallyzed its hind quarter. I believe if shot was at the head it would have been instant death. (read more)

got these at walmart for $2, shot longways into a kiwi, the pellet stay pointed, and the sides expanded out, nearly doubling in width, there fairly accurate for a cheap pellet. (read more)

The best pellet i have used yet. I do not have the most powerful rifle because of PAL laws in Canada, which limits FPS to a maximum of 500, these pellets are still very lethal. They have the best expansion on impact. I tried .177 cal beeman hollow point coated pellets in my Slavia 630, they were the worst pellet i have ever used. Inaccurate and had no power upon impact. But these pellets had both accuracy and power. (read more)

The destroyer is a very ugly pellet, you might think it was inaccurate, but the destroyer is one of the most accurate pellets for the money. They also work as advertised, the rim expanding and separating from the main body, ripping through massive amounts of tissue, and the main body continues to penetrate. I got my first squirrel with this and discovered the only downside to this pellet, those little fragments are hard to find! So all in all, a good pest control pellet with extreme damage,... I have recently bought a new air rifle and was checking on reviews on different pellet designs.referring to the pellet fragmentation in this review .here is maybe a useful Idea! I also use a metal detector to hunt for old coins .kellyco.com sells a hand held metal detector for like 80 bucks it might make the difference if you like to eat what you shoot!!!!

I tested these Crosman Destroyer Pointed .177 pellets on small game and they sure did live up to my expectations. I also tested them by shooting clay and grapefruits. After seeing the aftermath these pellets function just as their advertised. Good expansion and awsome penetration. (read more)

Shot the Crosman Destroyer Pointed .177 through my G1 extreme, at ripe tomatoes 20 yards away, the destroyer BY FAR had the most dramatic effect on target. It was pretty neat. I compared it to the Crosman ultra magnums, and the crosman match wadcutters. I don't think they would expand in a lower powered air gun, probably best to push these pellets at 650-1000 fps. My G1 extreme sends them at an even 900. Absolutely devastating to starlings and crows. One shot kills, a puff of feathers and a... (read more)

Accuracy is very good for a hunting pellet, shot through a Crosman G1 Extreme. So far I've only used it on English Sparrow and Starling, and it gets the job done. (read more)
