I,m not sure some of you are been fair . I went to the wedding wardrobe for my wedding dress and the shop was fantastic ,i,m alarger lady (22) and a tomboy to add and they made my feel like a millon dollars. I got a maggie dress and also got my headress, necklace, bridemaids dresses their headdresse which were different but all matched. The mangeress and staff were very helpful and polite. My dress needed altered round the bust and taken up and the streamtress was also very helpful and did a great job.
I would highly recommmend the shop to anyone looking for their wedding outfits.

this shop is great got my dress, bridesmaids and the suits here and everything was prefect, they are all nice staff working here and gave me lots of advice on matching my suits with the bridesmaids colours and the flowers. I had been to quite a few other shops before I tried the wedding wardrobe becouse my friend had said that I should leave them untill last becouse she thought it was the best shop she had found, and had the best solection of dresses, I have read some of the other reviews on he ...

The dress was perfect, the service was not. On ordering the dress the assistant was nice, however the manageress would not order the size I wanted despite my request for the next size down ( I had recently had a baby and was losing weight each week therefore by the time i was getting married 10months later I knew i would be a dress size lower at least) When the dress came in it was too big and the attitude of the manageress was poor. She didn't care less, didn't even come and talk to me when I ...

I have purchased my wedding dress from the Wedding Wardrobe and I have to say that I totally disagree with some of the reviews I have read on this site. I found the staff to be very friendly and professional. I had been struggling to find a dress in other bridal shops partly due to my size (20)and I had started to get very stressed and anxious. The staff at the Wedding Wardrobe calmed me down and put me totally at ease. They advised me on what suited me and I did try on a good number of dresses ...

The Wedding Wardrobe is a great shop with a lot of dresses to pick from the staff were all very helpful and great with colour matching, they have a great eye for it and advised us on a match for the mens wear, alterations were a bit expensive but were done very good but you have to pay if you wont a good job my dad always says. ps they also hire you a underskirt for £20 if you need one , one shop said I would have to buy one at £ 120 extra , "no thanks", I have read some of the revie ...

I was disgusted by the treatment I received when I visited this store. I am not a huge lady (size 12-14) but I was told that the dress I wanted, I would look fat in. The owner was both patronising and rude, and made me feel bad, I left the store both times really upset. It seems that unless you are a size 8 and wealthy she is not interested. I bought the dress elsewhere and am very happy with how I looked on my wedding day, but be warned about both the owner and the store. I found the attitu ...

I visited The Wedding Wardrobe because they were a stockist of the dress I wanted. When I got there it was a size 10 and I needed a size 18, they squeezed me into it and said it looked terrible and someone of my size really shouldnt be looking at dresses like this one!! How rude??
I eventually went elsewhere and got the same dress and i looked fantastic on my wedding day.
So glad never gave them my money.

I did not get my dress from The Wedding Wardrobe, Chester Le Street, County Durham, but wish I had. I got my bridesmaids and menswear from them and the sevice was great. One particular member of staff was excilent with the children in my party and the suits looked very smart. I had ties made to match the b/maid dresses here also. A GREAT SHOP.
