The Crosman premier ultra magnum 10.5 grain pellets are not lightweight, so don't use them if your gun has less than 13 FPE, or 17.5 joules. they are a little dirty, but don't wash them, that darkness is not only a lube, but it reminds you to wash your hands after handling the lead pellets. I shoot them out of a gun with approx. 17.5 FPE and they are killing birds at 50+ yards. The longest shot opportunity I've had for squirrels was about 40 yards which this took care of with no problems at all. just remember to be careful which direction you're shooting in, as these can kill people.

Unlike most plinkers, I align the crosshairs of my 32x Leupold scope against the crosshairs of the target. The first time I tried this Crosman Premier .177 10.5g with my Beeman R9, it punched a hole where the two lines of my target crossed and it took me a second to realized that. I have little problem achieving 3 holes in 5 shots grouping.

The Crosman Premier .177 10.5g is a good pellet if you have a powerful air rifle! You may not want to use this pellet in a rifle that shoots less than 600 fps with a regular pellet, velocity will be too low. My phantom shoots crosman destroyers at about 910 FPS, and it shoots these heavy ultra Magnums at about 790. A 10.5 gr pellet at 790 fps is excellent for small game and pests.
