    I love the decor! I love the ethos! For me they are the place to be the biggeat selection of the most beautiful gowns.
    Buy with confidence they will price match any gown within 14 days of purchase!!
    I would recommend them to any one.
    Ask for Ruth she just gives the best advise ever!!
    Honestly do not buy before you have visited this shop and seen what is on offer.

    I LOVE Emma Roy, I was there twice last year as a bridesmaid and this year finally it was my turn to be a bride! I had so much fun choosing my dress and the girl helping me was really genuine and friendly and really helped me visualize my big day. The selection of dresses is by far the best in Edinburgh and the prices were suprisingly reasonable (I think they price match too but I don't think it's necessary).     I was shopping with my sister-in-law and having had my own wedding 3 years previous am a wedding dress shopping veteran. The staff were unhelpful, and the rather larger lady kept using the same condesending phrases to each bride in ear shot of the other brides.

    It didnt feel special as squeezing brides into the same floor space was intimading and impersonnal.

    I made an appointment weeks in advance and when I turned up the staff were very unhelpful I stood around upstairs for about 15 mins before being directed downstairs and told to have a "rake". Finally a staff member appeared and asked me when I was due!!!!! I am not pregnant and only a size 12! Not a great start. I also overheard the staff in the changing room discussing how much they hated working in Emma Roy. I did eventually find my dress which was a Maggie Sottero design.

    I only have good things to say about Emma Roy! I went on an ex-sample sale day, the shop was understandably busy but the assisstants did their utmost to help everyone, they gave advice and suggestions which were hugely helpfull. As someone who as never considered what kind of dress I wanted they were an essential part of my decision process. The camaraderie between brides was brilliant and everyone helped each other.     Fantastic experiance from beginning to end. Selection of wedding dresses amazing. Emma Roy staff were fantastic. She found me an out of this world dress for my budget of £500.00 it was an ex sample dress. I had my wedding three weeks ago and wish I could relive the day over and over! Thank-you to all the girls at Emma Roy for making my dream wedding come true.     I loved Emma Roy! They had the biggest and most diverse range of dresses by far, and the interior was stunning in comparison to alot of the other places I'd been to! I wasn't expecting to be helped by an assistant but I'm so glad I was, she was so helpful given I was completely clueless about what I wanted and bombarded the poor girl with about a million style codes!     On our visit to the Emma Roy shop of Saturday, despite having made an appointment and requesting a specific dress, which we were assured was in stock - we were treated very disrespectfully. The dress was not available and had been discontinued - but the shop did not inform us of this prior to the visit. The changing rooms were appaling to say the least and the assistant allocated to us was a total waste of space. To have to come out into the main area of the shop along with five other girls ...

    A very nervous bride to be arrived at Emma Roy Bridal Edinburgh for an appoimtment and was directed downstairs to be directed to the rows of dresses and told to "rake" She asked to see a particular design, which at the time of booking the appointment was told they had, only now to be told it was discontinued.     the Emma Roy staff were extremely helpfull and have made me feel welcome thoughout the whole "wedding experience" i would recomend this shop to any bride the prices of dresses are very reasonable and they do a price match too and are understanding if you are on a tight budget great job!

    Emma Roy, Edinburgh, was surprisingly wonderful ,I expected after reading other reviews to be really disappointed.Not so ! We found the shop beautifully laid out ,lighting good ,plenty space and individual attention.
    The girl looking after us new her stuff ,as she brought a few dressess to try that she liked and actually were the best fit and definately the style suitable for my future daughter in law.

    Ordered a Consatatina gown called Diana, the most amazing gown ever!!! so pleased with the service, they even came to the hotel and laced me up on the day.
    I loved my bridal experience at Emma Roy and would recommend every bride to go there they did all my fittings and made my wedding dress fit so beautifully.
    Wish I was doing it all again!!
    selection of gowns best I have ever seen and prices can be negotiated.

    I will be recommending Emma Roy, Edinburgh to all my friends. The service was superb five star. .so many amazing gowns, my only difficulty was making a decision. Which I did with the help of the staff.

    Staff at Emma Roy, Edingburgh, were very helpful. Beautiful selection of dresses. Price negotiable when purchasing many items. Good fitters
    East or West Emma Roy's is the Best! Me and my twin sister had a joint wedding in Goa on 18th Jan and everybody who attended the wedding loved our dresses which we purchased from Emma Roy's. The dresses were beautiful. Thanks to all the staff for making lovely dresses for us.

    I was really nervous about finding my dress, as the first couple of outings had been so disappionting! I was put at ease right away by Emma Roy, this shop has so many to choose from but its the skill of the staff and the fact they really care that made the difference. I trusted them and they looked after me. I had the PERFECT dress and my bridesmaids looked amazing. It was magical they sailed me through it. This is not to be missed. I only wish I had gone there first.

    When i first went to Emma Roy in April 2007 to choose my dress for December 2008, they were extremely helpful, I was very impressed. They really couldn't have been more helpful.

    HOWEVER, After I signed the paperwork and paid the deposit, I felt that the good customer service disappeared!

    I was made very welcome in Emma Roy and was treated exceptionally well. I received top class service when trying on gowns. I really believe that the staff in this shop make every effort to afford time and high class service to customers. The selection and quality of bridal gowns and bridesmaid gowns was excellent and the fitting service also had many positive attributes. I found the prices very reasonable.
