I went to Bradgate Brides on Saturday morning and have nothing but praise for the way we were treated, the standard of service and also the quality of the gowns they sell. We were made very welcome by all the staff, i could have stayed all day. Jo was brilliant and we had such a laugh, my mum and sister also thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were made to feel at home. Jo advised what i should try, i didnt have to rummage through the hundreds of dresses, i like that kind of service afterall they are the experts. I ordered my dream dress and cant wait to go back when it arrives ! We were offered a drink (for those who think this is a big deal) but to be honest we didnt expect it and were happy with a glass of water. i wouldnt want to risk a coffee near the dresses ! We were their first appointment so i can appreciate as the day gets busier they cant be expected to be running around making drinks for everyone. Its unfair and irrelevant to knock them on this point as they are a bridal shop not a cafe (as the previous reviewer also points out). I'd reccomend Bradgate Brides to anyone serious about buying a wedding dress.

ive just had my first visit to bradgate brides and feel that i have to jump to their defence.Did the brides who thought that the customer service was "appalling" actually visit the same shop as me! i had the most amazing time!The staff were so friendly and funny while getting the job done and i found my dress and the bridesmaids and all of my accessories! I felt they genuinely cared and really put me at ease!I COULD QUITE EASILY GO BACK THERE EVERY WEEK AS I FELT QUITE AT HOME!

I loved my visit to Bradgate BRides. I was recommended by a friend who had previously bought a gown last year. We were welcomed by a friendly lady on reception even though she was very busy, possibly becasue it was a Saturday. We had already been to 3 shops and none were as busy anyway. We were early so were taken upstairs to a lounge type area and given bridal books to browse through, the bridesmaids room was there so we got a chance to look at those before Jo our stylist came and took us back ...

I recently had an appointment at Bradgates Bridal and it was the most appalling experience. I was advised that a stylist would advise which style suits me and what dress to try on (this is the part of their service). I then told the receptionist person that brides would have an idea of dresses they like and might not like the ones recommended by the stylist. I didnt feel very impressed with bradgate brides. My mother and mother in law were not acknowledged at all when we arrived or during the visit. We were not offered a drink during the time that we had to wait when they were running over and i didn't feel like they wanted to put much effort into making your experience very special. I think they definately need to work on their customer service skills.

Bradgate Brides offered an excellent overall service. They really had time for me and I was never pressured into anything. I was able to make my own decision at ease but their help was superb!
