I am currently on holiday in Spain and have been using Piz Buin One Day Factor 15 for the past 5 days. After two days I noticed I was developing a rash on my feet and put it down to heat rash. However, it has got much worse and now spread over most of my body (except, thankfully, my face...for now at least). After doing some research on the internet I see that many others have suffered this same fate and I too seem to be allergic to some ingredient in this product. I am really suffering and despite taking antihistamines and using a mousse from the chemist I am not improving. I just want to go home and have emailed my insurance company to see if they will cover the extra costs of me going back early. I feel so ripped off because I have looked forward to this holiday all year but I feel rotten. Hope Piz Buin do something to rectify this as it is clearly not acceptable that so many people are suffering since using their product.

My 18yr old daughter had 2 separate holidays abroad. 1 week with friends, 1 week with her boyfriend, both to Greece in July and August. She came back the same colour as she went!! That was with factor 15, I honestly can say piz buin the BEST suncream I/we have ever used and would not use anything but. I have always used high factor on my children, this does 100% what it says on the bottle, brilliant!!!

I too have suffered a severe allergic reaction to the Piz Buin 1 day long lotion as described by others on this site, needing treatment with steriods and antihistamines. The itching is still a problem after 3 weeks but is now improving. I have used this product for the last 2 years and found it great but the problem seems to be that they have now added oxybenzone (look it up - its not nice!)to the product. The packaging gives you no reason to think the product has changed. I have contacted Johns ...

I used Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion for about 2 days and then gradually came out in a really bad lumpy, red, itchy rash on my face, legs and arms. It lasted almost four weeks and was a complete nightmare and almost ruined my holiday. I had never used Piz Buin before and would really recommend any one using it in the future does a patch test.

This is our second year using Factor 30 once a day. Both myself and my children have very fair skin and burn easily. We applied this Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion at least twice a day and were able to remain out in the Turkish sun/in and out of the pool all dayand did not burn once. Must admit I peferred the texture and applicaton of last year's product. I had some left over to compare. Last year's product was better value for money - was not as thick with better coverage.

I have used this cream before, but this time I had a very bad reaction to all day long all factors - I have red blisters all over my face neck, back and chest - I feel awful - three weeks of holidays and I thought I was sorted with the best sun cream on the market - I now need to find a doctor to sort out the problem and some new cream - This Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion should have a warning NOT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN - IT HAS RUINED MY FAMILY HOLIDAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion Once a day factor 30 for 3 days and then had a severe allergic reaction on all applied areas except my face. This had to be treated with a course of aggressive steroid treatment and took 5 days to clear. A shame as everything about it seemed very good.

I have used Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion before with no problems. The new formula - bought recently - is slightly thicker and has a perfume/smell. Lists the helioflex on the front in blurb. I have now found that I have itching and sore scratchy areas where it has been applied (the following day). I thought this cream was great - not anymore.

My kids are still using this - but I am not going to use it again.

As a family we love PIZ BUIN!!!!!!!!! we have used it for years, even on the kids, its great.! i have read some of the comments and SOME of those who have had a skin problem were prob suffering from prickly heat! (which is very painful and itchy) sun cream can block the pores and cause a skin reaction. we found this the first time we used 1 day application with our youngest son. we were recomended to use anti histamines a couple of weeks before the holiday and during, this stopped the problem s ...

I love Piz Buin 1 a day cream. It is by far the best suncream product that I have used for myself and my children. It smells nice and I can cover the kids on a morning and be confident that even if no more cream is applied that day , that they will protected....Its great. Very impressed..

Used Piz Buin One Day Factor 30 for the first time on holiday and had a severe allergic reaction to it when I got back. Didn't think it was that at first, but after a second application to my ears, face and neck for a game of football, it has become obvious it was that.I didn't burn, though! But I am itchy, red and sore.

absolutely loved this Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion. I used it in heat of over 90 degrees and stayed in the sun ( in the pool or sea mostly) during the hottest part of the day - and NEVER burned once.

I didn't have any reaction at all - highly recommend - best sun cream I've ever used. I used the SPF 30 by the way and got a lovely golden colour instead of the usual red peeling freckles I usually get.

And its in 100ml packaging so you can take 2 in your hand luggage.

At first thought Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion was fantastic till I came out in a severe rash (like most other people it seems). Can't stop itching! Will be interesting to see if I am able to get a refund for it having just read other reviews saying how hard it has been to contact Johnson & Johnson.

Excellent protection from the sun - did not burn at all even only using One Day 10, but if you have sensitive skin like I do then do a control patch first and see how you react - my partner has been ...

Like a lot of people, both myself and my partner have had a serious allergic reaction to this Piz Buin 1 Day Long Lotion- rash, itching, puffiness. Will never use it again as the reaction is still bad 6 days after using the product for the first time.

Have used Piz Buin Sun Tan lotion for years and found it to be good.Recently I bought the new Day Longlotion 30 High with helioplex and have suffered a very bad rash and swelling to my face and eyes and a very bad rash on my face arms chest legs and back. in fact everywhere where I put the lotion. It has required 2 visits to the doctor and am now on steroid cream and anti-histamine tablets. The pain was so bad that I had to take paracetemol and unable to put on any make-up.It is still there 9 da ...

I used piz buin sun cream last weekend (it's Thursday today) and after a couple of days I came out in small blisters all over my arms and legs (where I had applied the cream) and also around my ears and forehead (where I hadn't put the cream). Quite strangely, it's not sore or itchy and it's not that visible unless you're really looking hard, but my skin feels horrendous - really lumpy and raised. I can think of no other explanation that that this blistering has been caused by the suncream, as I ...
