    I have received broken part from supplier. Wrote a negative comment which NEVER came on the website - absolutely unacceptable!!! So others don't see that their service is c&ap. I will write it everythere, they will loose their business hehe

    Parts Gateway delivered a seized transit engine from International car spares in oldham which when queried they suggested steam cleaning it! Eventually they agreed to take it back but 6 weeks later we have not received the refund promised on numerous occasions. DO NOT USE!!

    The system is excellent and worked very well for me. The Parts Gateway website was very clear, giving me full details on each of the 5 quotes for what I wanted which arrived within a couple of hours of my original enquiry. I could then look through feedback about each of the suppliers and make my choice. Also easy to fire a few questions back and forth to make final choice. I made my choice and placed an order online.     Supplier that Parts Gateway represent took order,and cancelled later without informing.

    I tried to source a part using Parts Gateway and ICS (one of the suppliers that quoted) said it had the part.

    I then read some of the reviews on this site. Accordingly, to make sure it had the correct part I replied to it's offer asking it to double check the part no. (which I had supplied in my original request), and advised that if wrong I was not interested in paying all the postage charges and restocking fees etc. that some of the other night mare stories have advised.

    Parts gateway seem for the most part to do a good job. Having searched for my part they put me intouch with International Car Spares. Thats when the problems started. Having placed my order on a monday I was promised my part would arrive wednesday. By thursday it had not arrived and on friday I rang them.     Dont ever ever touch Parts Gateway! First part ordered was broken. Second part sent out was the wrong part, 4 months later still waiting for my refund. Lost count of the number of calls I have made!

    I had to involve trading standards when trying to claim a refund from Parts Gateway. The goods I ordered did not come when promised so I cancelled my order. The day after I had cancelled, the stuff turned up. I called them and they said it was not a problem. Just return it with a receipt of postage and they would refund the full amount. I did this. 3 weeks and many phone calls later I had not received my refund. Then they told me that they would not refund the full amount. They would charge me a ...

    This has put me off ever dealing with parts gateway again. Now I only purchase parts over the net which are within travelling distance, so I can see them before I part with any money.

    I am writing to describe one of the worst purchase experiences that I have experienced online or otherwise.

    We purchased an EGR valve through Parts Gateway with the understanding that we were purchasing a reconditioned part. I have made frequent online purchases and, being handy at auto repair, have bought many reconditioned parts.     Parts gateway seems a great site, but as a previous comment says there is no negative feedback shown for suppliers and is therefore is extremely mis-leading.

    Sent the wrong parts, are rude and blamed DHL for late delivery. I am still waiting for a replacement front lambda sensor which I suspect has not been sent at all. Over a week now?

    I bought a brake master cylinder off International Car Spares in Oldham, this was though PartsGateway. Sent me the wrong master cylinder, then finally they have sent one off a different car 2 weeks later. So I send the item back, now 3 months on I still have not received a penny back, even after 40+ calls.Contacted PartsGateway about this, no email back. Left "International Car Spares" a negative feedback, but after 2 months it still hasn't shown up on their records on Partsgateway. ...

    Parts Gateway set out a nice feedback scheme where customers can check up feedbacks of breakers. I've been put to a bad breaker (international car spares), which supplied the wrong part and did not give a refund when I sent the part back.

    As you do, I left negative feedback, which did not show up on the breakers record.

    WOULD NOT USE THIS SITE AS THE BREAKERS IT IS LINKED TO SEEM TO VERY POORLY MANAGED AND NOT THE EXPERTS THAT THEY CLAIM TO BE ON THERE WEBSITES

    Parts Gateway is not a bad site in my opinion, but I personally avoid buying from certain suppliers via this site because of a bad experience.
