I recieved instant response from SAS LTD when there was a confusion over the part I ordered. I was neither fobbed off, or any argument as who was to blame. Which is good to know for future orders. I was offered the part to be collected straight away. As it turned out the part I received was the only part manufactured for my vehicle. The part is good and of course I am using it. What palace does exactly what they said, i couldnt believe it, i went on line for a part for my car next day they rang me told me they had the part, i gave them my details i.e. payment where i wanted the part delivered to, and yes i was a bit surprised when they said it would be delivered within two working days, i was unsure but to my amazement yes it arrived within the time specified well packed. Provided a very easy way to track down a spare part for an oldish car. A quick response from a number of suppliers who had the part available. Did have a problem that the first supplier I used sent a part for a newer model car than mine - and they haven't been very communicative about this problem, hope to get a refund soon. But the second firm I contacted have been very good, part delivered quickly and car now back on the road. Would definitely use this service again. (read more)

Nissan quoted £660+vat for a sunroof motor. A bloody laugh out loud price. Request on Parts Gateway gave me five quotes between £40-£100 within 30 mins. Selected quote then said yes and then no but apologised. Next selected quote sent wrong motor but, one 'phone call and a correct 'motor was received the next day and my return carriage refunded. Not only many hundreds of pounds cheaper than Mr. Nissan but, slightly quicker. Nissan order would have been back order and 12 weeks delivery. (read more)

Parts Gateway is the best parts finder service I have used and best of all its FREE which is such a welcome change from being ripped off elsewhere. I highly recommend using them you won't be disappointed. I had an awkward part to find and within a few hours I had a good number of quotes to compare with, I had been quoted £85 + VAT for the part new I went to these guys and got 1 (admittedly its used) for £22 all in, inclusive of delivery, a massive saving and it fitted perfect Job done. As they are on time windows, he was impatient and said he had not been asked this before. We said this was unusual as there are certain retail laws relevant to purchase and returning goods which he was aware of also. Very quick to take money from my account and not provide me with security code for my part. Anyone can rip a part out of a scrap car and send it late it takes a little bit more care to send a securtity number with it. Promised me the earth and would not be a problem to get security code yet when came to the crunch no code was given. For anyone trying to replace parts on there cars this is an easy way of ensuring that you get the right part at a good price. By entering your car details you know that you are being quoted for the right part and in my case the supplier sent me an email just to check as there are a number of different models of my car around. After supplying them with the actual part number and specifically demanding that the part I was buying must match that number I was told that the replacement number matched exactly. This was purely and simply a lie as the part was not only different it was actually so dirty that no one could have possibly checked the part number on it. Once my request was submitted it was dealt with without any fuss at all. The response from the breakers was very quick and Parts Gateway kept me informed as to what was going on at all times. The process for using Parts Gateway could not have been easier, the only criticism I have is maybe a few more breakers could have been contacted as I only had one to deal with so there was no room for negotiation. The parts arrived broken and poor quality and very dirty. When trying to contact the supplier the email address did not work and when ringing the phone, it rang for 6-7 minutes then cut off. I have tried to contact them 14 times over 2 days since the part arrived, they never answer the phone. I am a single parent and the cost is one I cannot afford as I am still missing the part that I ordered. There is no way to contact them to report the damaged goods.
