    Good Points: Stylish looks, good build quality.


    Bad Points: I experienced a number of problems with this machine. First of all, it seems to be hard to delete the first answerphone message, particularly if it is very short. The audio quality from the handset isn't great (but acceptable). The handset display failed after 5 months, showing random characters. Finally, after 18 months a fault developed by which an incoming call was sometimes not established when the phone was answered (which seems to have been the phone rather than the line). At this point, I bought a new phone.


    General comments: Whilst the Philips CD2351 looks good and has a nice solid feel to it, it lets itself down in terms of reliability and durability.
