    What we bought was fine for 2 years and then the mat started slipping and shaking. No help from the help desk other than being sent photocopies of the handbook that we had already. No access to talk to their engineers even though we offered to pay. What do we do with a £700 machine that doesn't work - can't afford to replace it. Won't buy york again.

    After assembling the cross trainer, we found that there was a problem with one of the holding nuts becoming loose. It only took one simple telephone call to the York service desk, and the whole item was exchanged within 4 days. The replacement was assembled again by us quite quickly and this one is excellent. Tops for customer service.

    York Fitness Equipment always seem to have good deals on various products week in and week out. The discount warehouse really offers bargains if you don't mind equipment not having that brand new look.
