    Good Points: On paper it has all you could want from a sports hatch. Speed. Agility. Good handling. Responsive. Reliable. 6 CD changer. Decent size boot.
    Didn't lose too much value in the 4 months I owned it.


    Bad Points: I found it uncomfortable. The seats seem small and hard. The MPG was poor for a small car, Mid 30's if you are very, very frugal with your right foot. Upper 20's on an average day. Mid 20's if you dare to use the climate control. The stereo sound is not good either - fine when it feels like it.


    General comments: I bought a Mazda 3 2.0 Sport hoping for a nimble, fun, petrol sports hatch that would be cheaper to run than my aged Volvo T5. At less than 3 years old, and under 25,000 miles I have just traded it in for another Volvo.
    My advice? Be very, very careful and have a long test drive - a good car, but I really didn't like it.
    I usually keep cars for at least 5 or 6 years.
