Good Points: They do at least have a customer services department. IF they can identify the problem they are quick at solving it.
General comments: Phones yes, Broadband, no. BT sell you one business solution but it is delivered by different business groups within BT. SO, what I have found when you have a problem, they don't work together. They work together to get your money but once you're in, the people who sell you a 'single solution' suddenly start blaming other parts of BT with lines like 'they're totally different from us, nothing I can do" etc. If you have an obvious and identifiable fault, they are actually quite good but if it's tricky (and they are often not obvious faults) then be prepared to join the merry go round of blame shifting, inept call centre staff and a complete inability to solve your problem. I recently spent 3.40 hours on hold or having excuses made to me as to why the fault was another departments responsibility. I am not exaggerating, I went around the whole system twice. I logged the call then complained through the official channel and three months later, still haven't heard back.
In the end, after 10 days of my business not being online, I called a freelance communications specialist who identified the fault after talking to the tech help desk for 5 minutes. Doesn't say much for BT tech support....
