having arived at the Fendrod , a pub that we have had food in many times over the years , I was amazed to find the carpark at the rear over grown and the place looked closed infact derelict . as I walked further onto the weed infested cigarete piled patio that had not been swept for sometime and looked at the garden furnature which was in dire need of maintainance , still not to be put off I looked through the windows to see people inside . I ventureed in and my partner ordered two large steak and ale pies with chips . ERROR ERROR ERROR . WHEN THE PIES CAME THEY HAD BEEN MICROWAVED AND WERE SOGGY with very little stake and no ale taste at all the peas were like bullets and the gravey tasted like bisto we will not be going again

I wouldn't recommend the Fendrod in Swansea to anybody.
I have tried it on several occassions and had the same problems each time so i know stay well clear of the place.
It is basic pub food - very small portions but at a very small price. However I don't think that what you get is worth what you pay.- Read alicia85's review (132 words)

The Fendrod in Llansamlet, Swansea is one of these privately owned but franchised pubs that promises a warm welcome, staff who take an interest in their customers and a chef who does extremely well with the goods available to him or her.
The place is always full, and the service always attentive. Yesterday my steak and chips arrived promptly, and the waitress (a mature lady) was full of humour and banter.
The steak was actually cooked medium as requested (a rare occurrence), the chips cri ...- Read Welsh Foodie's review (206 words)
