    An excellent all round package! And A bike that dose more than just what the name suggests as STP stands for Street,Trials and Park. Although there's a couple of models the STP2 is the one in the middle of the range with the STP Zero being the top of the range, All the bikes in the STP range feature the same great frame designed by bike company "giant"s' sponsored Jeff Lenosky, who was considered one of the first (Barr-no way Hans ray of GT) to bring trials in main stream America with a twist of street and flowing free ride lines back in the 1980's and still going today! Any of the STP bikes would be a prefect starter bike for the younger rider just finding his feet (so to speak) or even a more advanced rider, with no set riding genre means this bike can be used for anything from manuals/jumps/bar spins/crank flips/wheelies or even burning it up your local cross country course on a Sunday afternoon, I'd even use it for transport if I had to. Giant has always had a great attitude when it comes to price beating just about every other company on specifications, this is due to Giant being a big player in the bike industry. Most Bike companies these days don't make there own frames and in fact most companies you'll probably find own each other anyway meaning that sometimes your paying for a name, giant however are one of the companies that make other peoples frames for them and this means that they can and do sell there frames at very fair prices, and they also make there own parts which is why they can put say hydraulic disc brakes on a bike at a price where other companies can only put cable disc brakes. Good point to add is that they are always good with warranty issues should they arise

    i like the Giant stp2.
    i have upgraded many times due to breakages!
    the stock parts on it are not that good.
    um... it is a great bike for begginers such as me.
    its meant to be a dirt jump bike but i do more park/ street on it.

    The giant STP2 is a great bike in my opinion. It would have been nice to have the upgraded shocks. If you are not riding this bike too hard it will do great for you. If you are a hard rider then the STP1 would be a better bike for you. They are both amazing bikes, and from riding both of them, I personally would not buy anything but an STP. If you do a lot of jumping the STP2 has no chain tensioner. Not having one didn't cause me too much inconvenience, but since I have got my STP1 it has been a ...

    I love the Giant STP 2, it a much improved version than the STP 1, everything about is is awesome and makes it a better ride than anything else i have tried.
