“Avoid at all cost ”

Moved from BT to the Post office because it was a slightly cheaper option. What a huge mistake, you get what you pay for rings true with this lot. Depending on the time of the day the speed i can get can be less than 1mbps up to a maximum of 4mbps This can render broadband useless for many evenings (funnily enough) The 'technical team' at the post office describe that this is due to the location of my house but i am pretty sure my house stays in the same place all the time ! “Absolutely Awful”

In an attempt to get cheaper WiFi than BT we changed to this pathetic excuse for WiFi. The router is very faulty and on the occasion that it works, I normally cannot even connect. When we can, it is so unbearably slow that it has resulted in the family spending an extra 12.50 per month on 3g. “Getting worse”

I decided to upgrade my router and the one they sent cut out on connection. After many calls to their helpline and being told it was my system I called in a local PC engineer who fitted an old spare router he had and bingo all was fine. Speed very slow- much slower than local Talk Talk even though they have the contract and an upgrade was promised. “Just terrible service”

A month ago my broadband speed plummeted at the same time my phone line started crackling wildly. 0.01 mb/s download speed. I've now had FIVE engineers visit and each time they visit they say the fault isn't at the house end so they have to close the call. And then I have to raise a new one and..... they send an engineer out. It's PATHETIC! This has been going on for a month now. “From bad to worse”

PO broadband was OK before the switch from BT to Talktalk. Now, it is just apalling. They are badly shaping traffic which is usually halved from what it can be and we easily can notice it because we use them in a second house and every time we come, it's good then fall abruptly after a couple of hours. “Shame were quite good.”

We have been with the post office home phone and broadband for app 4 years and have always had a great value service. There has been excellent tech service, inc BT engineers coming out to check lines if my broadband slowed down, a real person who knew his onions always available on the phone for any other technical issues etc. I also got my family to join the post office too, free anytime post office land lines, inc weekend calls to local national and mobile numbers. I was left with no broadband for three months and ringing them every few days no matter what time of day it was I was left on hold for over an hour every time. “Waste of Space”

How many times do I have to go on to emails and find it is not available because of servicing? During last years change over was left without emails for days on end. Internet drops out, screen doesn't fit on works pc and have to change text size. Avoid like the plague… Read Full Review

Until a few months ago, a useable service but it has become vitually unuseable and their tech support are both clueless and useless. Frequently I get less than 1Mbps and during evenings and weekends, the connection repeatedly fails. Absolutely hopeless. “Unreliable and slow”

My broadband is averaging around 3.4kb/s and thats if its actually working. Have contacted costumer support to many times to count, and all though most of the time they are friendly, they have not been able to fix any problem. “customer service efficiency”

Phoned customer service after 9am got connected immediately. Explained no internet connection from previous evening. Details were taken by very helpful operator. Told they would check it through, and get in touch via my mobile phone within 4 hours. Barely an hour later was called back, and told no fault on connections, or land line. “never known anything like it”

My brother without his agreement was transferred to another provider. That provider says he has no account with them. Post office computer says he is with another provider and will not help. “Progressive collapse of service after upgrade”

Was a customer for 5 years with no problems. Received notification that the service would be upgraded in August and went on holiday. Returned one week later to find that my email was down. Hours of 'phoning required to contact "help". Various promises to wait a few days and it will be fixed or that they would ring me back (they never did). “Upgrade? - I don't think so!”

Have used the PO for broadband for 12 months prior to the switch-over and the service was 100% reliable and bearing in mind our rural location fairly ok from a speed point of view. Since the "upgrade" it's diabolically slow (would make an old modem look like greased lightening) and falls over multiple times per day. I've already placed an order to move to a different ISP but face another two weeks of this nonsense. I have no idea why I'm expected to pay for this "service"… Read Full Review

“Don't waste your time with this lot”

Following the PO migration from BT to Talktalk my service has been about as bad as it gets. I can't contact PO (in a reasonable time) and they don't answer emails. I left homefone for sky didn't need a MAC code sky did all the work and it went smooth as can be.
