All want to do is obtain a £5.00 phone card when required, on the 29th December after trying for 1 hour I eventually received order reference number P058540060 for a £5.00 phone card.
Today the 31st December I tried for a long time to obtain a new phone card but your online system said my password was not acceptable, even when I requested a new password your online system would not accept the new password.
So I telephoned 0845 609 1180 and spoke to a very unhelpful male who took my telephone number which is 01590 676785 and promised to telephone me back. several hours have now passed and he did not telephone back.
I would appreciate your explaing to me why I cannot obtain a new phone card two days after obtaining one.

Wish I had never bothered changing, absolutely awful! Technical support a joke, have tried three times and held for 20 minutes, even being promised a call back that has never happened. They don't respond to emails, steer clear I shall be complaining as loudly as possible. Oh and while I am typing this they ring I explain the problem and they disconnect the line....do you think they will ring back.....I don't

The best Broadband I have ever had, and I am fussy ! Fast, reliable and cheap, my whole family uses it, and everyone likes it. You definately get what is advertised, no complaints whatsoever. And no direct debits to set up with the bank, you can pay by cash at the Post Office, job done!

changed over from Tiscali, which were awful!! thought change over and home phone swap was very good, and sent wrong filter, but rang and put it right, been surfing and good speed, for me very good service, free calls evening and weekends great, and no line rental, would recommend to friends. hope they keep up good work, if do, will probably stay with them, and maybe up grade to wireless router, very pleased so far.
Had look at reviews before, and was slightly worried, but been very good servic ...

The Post Office is operating on a LESS than one star standard.
I would NOT recommend ANY Post Office Service - the 'Part-time' postal
service is RUBBISH. The postperson throws important documents into
my garage and I am always having to deliver my neighbours' mail to them,
having been posted through my door.
The Broadband service is a rip-off. Customer Services DO NOT CANCEL
SERVICES when told to do so, told both verbally and in writing. It is an
    absolute disgrace.

Not specificall Broadband but Post Office Home phone in general - never managed to get through in less than 20 minutes regardless of the time of day so you cant tell me that they have exceptionally high call volumes all day, more like not enough staff. Have been waiting iun their queue for 40 mins and also 30 mins only to be cut off and had to start all over again.

They arranged for my mother in law's phone number to be moved to her new address, couldn;t get it in for the day she moved but for ...

    Worst of the worst.

Ordered over a month ago, and still no connection. Every time I called The Post Office they told me there was a delay with my order, and gave me a new date a week out.

Because of them I'm stuch with no internet for 6 weeks.

Wish i never changed to Post Office broadband.
before switching i researched forums and found the package that i wanted.
checked with post office technical dept, if my original wireless netgear router was suitable, with 2 wireless laptops the package i had chosen. 'no problem i was told'. then signed up.
using two laptops after switch over 'perfect even complimented them'
    2 days later 'no connection'
after a long and heated dispute with post office and all their departments.
    i was told that i h ...

Had no problem joining up, but since doing so in February, email delivery has been a nightmare, with periods of up to a week with no email delivered to the webspace or our email client. This has happened four or five times and those emails are lost forever. I suspect they have offered a cheap service with insufficient investment either in mail servers or the staff to maintain them. It's that bad that we are even considering buying ourselves out, by paying the early termination "fee", of trhe nex ...

i have no idea what"hidden charges" of up to £180 could be.
this deal is the most transparent there is.no "half price for 3 months "etc, etc.
basically this is the bt package, provided by bt but with free uk based customer service and a much better calls deal included and since i have had it it has been 100% reliable.
take a close look, you will not be disappointed

Post Office broadband is a good price and has good customer service. Good low-cost phone package with FREE international weekend calls. Speedy set up with no CD to run etc.Speeds equal to my previous ISP excellent all round. After paying a fortune for technical help from my prevous ISP (name starts with an 'O' owned by a French company) I decided enough was enough. Post Office have what I believe is the best Bradband/Phone package around. No frills but who needs frills?

The Post Office welcome pack never arrived. I have three sets of passswords and usernames for phone and BB.No NNTP (Newsgroup) server. Customer take weeks to respond, then give poor, misleading or incorrect advice.

I am a reasonable experienced user, so do not need much from their support, which is just as well as it seems to me to be very poor. Lack of NNTP sever is a big negative for me and I will not stay with them after minimum period, which means that I will transfer phone also.I dont use ...

Having been a homephone customer for a few months we were convinced by the people in the post office to take up their broadband extra package. I also liked the idea of supporting the postoffice as it is often the cornerstone of the rural community.

By combining phone and broadband we would save money and hassle. This couldn't have been further from the truth! Several months and they are yet to combine our broadband and phone into one account thus negating any benefit in terms of cost or convien ...

I have now been on the Home Phone/Broadband Standard for some months and it would appear that I am now at last connected to Outlook Express. I really cannot recommend PO Home Broadband Standard. I truly feel that the PO were inundated with subscribers at the end of 2007 and they couldn't deal with the volume of queries and teething problems that they had. Maybe that is why we see very little TV adverts for PO Broadband.

    Unhelpful customer service.
The product does not do what it says on their adverts in my opinion.
The IT engineers have also been unhelpful in my experience I feel.
No wonder the internet connection was so cheap for me as the router is not up to standard and after 10 phone calls nothing has chaqnged. I have now got otelo and BBC Watchdog involved to try to cancel this contract.

We migrated to the Post Office from Orange 5 months ago, and it has proven an excellent choice. We have had no problems at all, and especially combined with the telephone line deal, the unlimited broadband package offers very good value for money. A huge advantage is that the router is just a normal Netgear router - it does not contain any irritating software that updates itself periodically, so there is never the risk of unannounced disconnection (which happens with the Orange LiveBox, for exam ...
