The Vauxhall Astra 2.2 16 Coupe Bertone Edition is a very nice car, still a great looker... has a certain classic coupe allure which will probably never be out of style. Nice steering, very very stable with the factory sports suspension, good audio in standard, alcantara black/white interior is very nice.

I have a factory De-badged 2.2 cabrio all black, I have bee to Spain several times with it and people always look at it and wonder what it is.There is only the Vauxhall badge in the center of the boot lid and Europeans don't know what it is as they are used to Opel.

The main thing I liked about the Vauxhall Astra 2.2 16 Coupe Bertone Edition was the power, and this car has a lot of it. I know this because I took it to a test track, put my foot down and these were the results:
    TOP SPEED: 165mph
    0-60: 5.8secs
Some cars I over took: Mini Cooper S, VW Golf GTi, BMW M5d, Vauxhall VXR220 TURBO and it beat an Audi TT in a drag.

Vauxhall Astra 2.2 16 Coupe Bertone Edition is not a sports car, it is a boulevard cruiser, a [low speed] 'show-off' car, especially in the 'Centenary Blue' of the Edition 100. Don't fit a loud exhaust, it dosen't suit its' character. The 2.2 engine was designed for smoothness not speed and when driven as above can be very fuel efficient. You won't notice the noise from its' wide tyres with the roof retracted. Its' centre consul plastic looks cheap. Try to keep all the gear selector moving parts ...

i recently bought my bertone 2.2 16valve, on a 54 plate. im delighted, its much quicker and more powerful than i expected it to be. in my opinion its much cheaper to run, insure and purchase than a bmw, lacks the prestige of bmws, mercs or audis.
slightly dated interior. but certainly packs just as much punch. if thats not good enough, go for the 2 litre turbo which houses an extra 50ish bhp. its a very sporty coupe, and touch wood, has been very reliable so far.
quite economic on fuel consider ...

Since I bought the car I had nothing but trouble! Started off with fuel smell then parts of the exhaust kept breaking all the way up to the manifold. Then my speedometer stopped working, my radiator then started leaking and to top it all off when I am slowing down the car just cuts out. Probably the worst car I have ever owned.
This car has put me off ever wanting to buy a Vauxhall car again!

This car looks from the outside are very impressive it looks good from all angles. The roof is keeps a lot of road noise out when up and when down the car keep loking fantastic evry things is still the same as the day it come off the productions line (well built). this car make you look out of the window in the morning just to make you see if you can put the roof down.
This is a really good cruising car with the top down, if you don't drive it hard I can get 40/41 mpg mixed miles. Which is not b ...

I have owned the Vauxhall Astra Bertone for 12 months having driven it all over Europe. Apart from a flat tyre it has never let me down. I love it! Flick a switch and the roof is neatly tucked away and you have a sporty speed machine!
Fantastic sporty good looking and reliable. What more do you want?

This Vauxhall Astra was specially made to celebrate 100 years of Vauxhall making Cars. I just wish they pull out all the gun. i.e auto seating, sat/nav Hifi, instend of a vdo 500 cd. Very poor..

The Vauxhall Astra Coupe is a lovely Car to drive, with all the bits and pieces you would ever want on a car. I have the 2.2 16 Bertone Edition. I've always bought Vauxhall for their reliability, and they havent let me down yet, but don't get this one unless your really sure you can afford it because it is very thirsty.

If you want a good looking car with good handling then this is the one. If you want a fast car then stay away from the Astra Coupe 2.2 16v as I found it rather slow.

This Vauxhall Astra 2.2 16 Coupe Bertone Edition is the the best car I have ever owned. It's a lovely drive with a big kick, when needed. The interior is smart and dashboard is practical as well as stylish. I have been in Audi, BMW, Merc, and Saab convertibles and have not found them to have anything more than mine, except a huge price tag.

The Vauxhall Astra 2.2 16 Coupe Bertone Edition has comfortable interior, good handling, practical but not boring in any way. One problem is if you open the electric hood and are unaware that someone has opened the boot, it causes a lot of damage. There is nothing in the handbook to warn you of this. I suggest it is adapted so that the hood is not able to move when boot is open or a warning signal be incorporated. It happened to me and when I took it in for repairs, the fitters knew immediate ...
