“Used infrequently stopped working”

Opened housing and found armature on motor fell apart. Can't buy replacement from Toro. Would be easy to fix if part was available. Won't buy another Toro product and will pass along a suggestion to Home Depot not to carry their products made with inferior parts. (read more)

“Why Sell Tools That Cant Be Fixed”

My poor grandfather bought a toro leaf blower used it maybe ten times. while doing some yard work for him this summer i went to use his toro rake and vac to find after 30 seconds of running it it starts to die so i took it apart to find the motor was junk i tried to find a replacement motor which they do not sell so tell me this if u are willing to spend money on buying there tools why in the hell wouldnt they make it so u can buy even more of there junk parts i will never buy another toro... I have just purchased this product and would advise that the collection bag allows dirty water from the leaves to seep through very quickly if the leaves are wet. I ruined a good pair of jeans using this product.
Its easy to use and to change from blower to vacuum though if the leaves are wet then you can expect to be wet too. (read more)

Wow! I had the same problem as other reviewers and this thing is bad! The motor started smoking and I think the motor brushes are gone. No replacement parts seem to be available. Used it may be 10-12 times and I can't believe the quality is so low.

Will never buy Toro products again. (read more)

Had my Toro for just over two years and it started to smoke and the motor would slow down. Took it apart and found the armature burned and two off the slots on the armature were severly damaged. In other words the motor was shot. The motor is made by MAMCO and toro does not offer a replacement.
This blower is not worth the price.
The other toro blower I had previously purchased caught fire while in use and I got it on viedo and put it on the internet for everone to see.

Had my Toro Ultra Blower Vac 51599 2 years (just past the warranty) and it started smoke and slow down. Took it apart and one motor brush was discintigrated and the board was burt up. Toro doesn't offer replacement parts. Toro is supposed to be one of the best. If I wanted junk I would have purchased a $20 thow-away. No more money to Toro. (read more)
