    Good Points: It is hard to write anything positive about SureLet Property Management, apart from the standard of accomodation that they offered was superb. Brand New Houses, from the outset, were fantastic, and at a great price for rental. The Letting Agent went out of his way to show us around the properties at times which were suitable for us.


    Bad Points: Where do I start? Promises were unfulfilled: such as someone coming around to show us how to work the appliances which had been installed but were not accompanied with handbooks. Fittings and fixtures were not installed, as promised. The excuse given for these was that the parts were no longer available - however, I must ask - How can a part for a brand new appliance not be available? SureLet were unable to contact our landlord in cases of emergency (of which there was 1), and had seemingly no back-up plan or strategy to deal with problems which required the landlord's say-so. I don't feel they represented us well.


    General comments: For the last 7 months, I have stayed in a property managed by SureLet. At first, everything seems ok. They are responsive and deal with your requests - then you move in. You are no longer in contact with the franchise which you dealt with in the first place, and have to deal with a Head Office in Gloucester. Calls were not returned, promises were not seen through. I would deeply say that I do not feel SureLet are providing a property management solution for any prospective tenant or landlord. Obviously, I want to regain a certain amount of privacy, and therefore I do not want to go into details but what I can say, is that the company have left me deeply disappointed, unhappy, hurt, saddened.

    I had a phone call from the Surelet management centre informing me that my tenant had defaulted on his rent and the rent guarantee insurance would not cover this ( terms and conditions in the small print - great marketing as offer a FREE rent guarantee scheme for 6 months but if tenant defaults during this period the insurance will not be renewed so on a 1 year tenancy this could be a problem as in my case).
