    Adeje, Dream Hotel Gran Tacande. Not a bad room, well cleaned, however be careful that there is building work Being carried out in the next hotel, this starts at 7.30 am. We had to spend money during the day for lunch to supplement the food choice in the resturant. Lunch can easly cost £50 per couple. This is not a 5 star hotel, I have stayed in the Riu Palace (4 star) far superior in both cost and looks.
    Drink are very costly in the hotel bars, around £9.50 for a JD & coke, Coke costing nearly £3 per bottle.
    I will not be returning.

    Hotel was soleless, many areas were dark, hotel food deteriated after two days when alot of xmas guests left.
    I made two complaints,one to the resturant manager an the other by appointment to the hotel manager.

    Grand Hotel Tacande is really a dream place to stay. The staff are most courteous and helpful and go out of their way with hospitality. The food there is of excellent quality and there is always plenty available whatever time one arrives at the dining room. There are no large queues ever which makes it an amazing place to have a meal with best attention at all times. Always plenty space at the poolside because it is so large. Nice restaurants near the pool side also and waiter service if require ...
