Good Points: I'm very happy with the fact that no weapons have been changed or removed, Ive always found the weapons to be one the major positive aspects to this game as I find them flawlessCharacters are still just as 'cool looking' as the previous UT Games, if not bettered as many of the outfits are very detailed.Gameplay is still very fast paced which is great, and the aspect of the 'MultiKill' headlines still generates fulfillment which again I am very happy they have not removed as I am aware some gamers find this aspect of UT annoying...
Bad Points: UT3 needs a high graphic setup, like many games today do, however this is not so much a problem with UT3 but more of a problem with my computer. The UT3 maps in my opinion have not been bettered, in fact I find many aspects of map range to be poor, there is not enough variation in the themes for me, plus I find that there are not as many cool jumps and hiding places which I found to be one the greater aspects of the previous UT Games...
General comments: I've always favored the UT Games for the PC, I find the game play (online or not) to be very entertaining. Every aspect of the game is fulfilling, when you kill you get headlines such as "Headshot" or "Multi-Kill" which adds a slight arcade like feel to Unreal Tournament 3, I suppose this aspect of the game would only be enjoyed by arcade game fans, but for me it definitely works! The characters in my opinion have been much improved, more detailed clothing for example has been added that makes all the difference when considering the 'coolness' of the game. The range of maps in my opinion has not been bettered however, for me they are too small and not enough of them, there aren't as many cool jumps and hiding places as there was on the older UT Games which in my opinion has a major negative feel to the game, or maybe I just miss the old maps simply because of how much I played on them. The weapons have always been one of the main aspects of UT3 for me, they are the same as the previous UT Games but slightly modded up to look more futuristic which again adds to the idea that this UT game is the same but bettered! In my opinion the graphics should not be as a highly detailed as they are (simply because UT3 only just runs on my PC). Due to the graphics being so high I have to turn all graphic setting in game to the lowest settings which leads to a little bit of graphic lag which for me is a major 'downer'.However, this is not so much a fault with UT3, but my computer setup... but, I find that many new games need expensive computers which I believe would be a problem for many gamers out there. Overall, I think Unreal Tournament has lived up to the previous UT Games, and I'm glad to say that I feel it has even been bettered. Although there is still room for improvement, many of the improvements could be done by me personally and not so much a fault with Unreal Tournament 3.My Conclusion... I well recommend Unreal Tournament 3 (just make sure your PC supports it before you buy it.)

UT3 is a great shooter, with several new additions to differentiate itself from its predecessors, while remaining true to what made the series great. The new modes are great, and keep the game feeling fresh. However the absence of the Assault mode and the Lightning Gun are tragic to say the least, but the new additions make up for it nicely. There is nothing more to say. It's Unreal Tournament, at the end of the day. If you love it, you'll love this. If not, you won't.
