    Have had mine for almost a year, first Sony Ericsson W380i phone packed in after a week. Was replaced, second one has been in twice to get fixed. Battery keeps dying, and front screen stopped working. Cant get a signal anywhere slightly remote. Emergency calls only, continuously.

    Ive had two Sony Ericsson W380i - the first one the screen on the front stopped working and i couldnt hear people on it... then i must admit i broke it... but then i brought another one and this one keeps turning its self off.... ... a big waste of money!!

    I have had two of the Sony Ericsson W380i phones in quick succession. The first one would not pick up a signal in my house, though other mobiles work. Vodafone changed it for another which was even worse. It has had a software upgrade and the antenna changed, and it still said 'Emergency calls only'. At last Vodafone agreed to exchange it and I have got a Nokia 6300 which seems brilliant. Steer clear!

    Overall as a phone the w380i is pretty good, and if your on a budget then its good, but as a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone it's probably one of their worst. When you compare it to the 2 MP camera of the w880i, or the screen resolution of the w910i, its rubbish to be honest.

    I have only had the phone for 3 weeks and I am a little disappointed with SE software, it seems a little clumsy compared with other manufacturers. The ring volume and organiser alert really need improving and this has put me off SE phones. For basic functions it is as good as any other phone.

    The Sony Ericsson W380i is a nice stylish compact clamshell phone for the price. I found the SE software a little clumsy compared to other manufacturers. The ring and alert volume issues really need to be improved as they are disappointing,even for a "budget" phone, and spoil the overall satisfaction for me. But for anyone wanting a Walkman phone and is not bothered about my minus points, go for it.

    I've had the Sony Ericsson W380i phone for several weeks. You definitely get what you pay for. This is not worth the £80 I paid for it. I looks good and is well made, and fits well in the hand, but there the advantages end.The keys are stiff, it's not good for texting. The screen resolution is poor. It doesn't always ring when you get a call, this may be due to the poor reception. For a Walkman the music sound quality is average at best. I don't use a phone for photo or video, but I do in ...

    The Sony Ericsson W380i has nice general options and i also like the idea that SE had with this one except it has some minors what makes me feel like selling it back to someone else and it hasn't been a week yet since i've got her......

    On the computer when i bought the Sony Ericsson W380i phone it looked cool and retro but when it arrived it was a different matter! The feel is very plasticy and cheap, the features are lacking and the on-screen graphics are awful. It has scared me away from Sony Erricson phones, which is a shame as some of my friends' ones are great. On the plus side its easy to use for a first timer but apart from that its not great.

    I think the Sony Ericsson W380i has poorly designed software. Also, because the phone is "so new", there are no technicians trained to fix it. Very upset.

    The Sony Ericsson W380i is a nice phone but I am going back to my k800. Keeps turning itself off & the sounds are not very loud.

    The Sony Ericsson W380i is a cool and awesome walkman phone. You have to get one although it only has a 1.3 camera and I think the screen is a little low.
