Seven months after purchase my Braun 9595 Pulsonic shaver started to cut out every few seconds and became unusable. I felt the shave was never brilliant and the battery life was not great either in my opinion. One good point is that it does keep shaving at full power until the battery is depleted. My last two shavers were Braun but this one as well as being the most expensive has also seemed the worst.

This is the worst Braun razor that I have ever owned! It gives a very poor shave and has stopped working on a number of occasions, just lucky that I live close to a service agent. The cutter has been replaced three times and the razor has also been completely rebuilt including a new motor. I regret buying the Pulsonic 9595 razor and cannot recommend it, I will not buy another Braun razor which is a shame because I have always found Braun to be one of the best electric razors on the market.

If I could find a contact for Braun in the UK other than a service centre I would be demanding my money back. I have been shaving for 30 years and find that if I have a meeting at lunchtime I have to have another shave using my pocket Braun costing £12 which gives a better longer lasting shave. I HATE the 9565. I think the plastic box it travels in is nasty, there is no foil protector, the charging bit is in the cable so all the braun cables I have collected over the years and still use depending on where I recharge are redundant. The carry case does not carry the charging cable thus if you are on holiday you have to remember to pack both. The floating head (do I really benefit from this?) has a really expensive looking foil which I expect, because it has no cover, will get damaged and require replacement regularly.

I think the Braun 9595 Pulsonic Shaver is technology for the sake of it which in fact reduces the effectiveness by a significant amount. I would suggest you buy something half the price that isn't Pulsonic and you'll be fine. Mine is now boxed up and will probably end up in the bin in a few years to come

Review of Braun 9595 Pulsonic Shaver - After 20 years of Philishave products I searched the web for a new shaver and read some good reviews on the Braun, the day it arrived my which? magazine arrived and it was not even listed. I am very disappointed with my purchase, when I shave I use moisturiser and can feel all the missed hairs no matter how long or carefully I have shaved, it does shave my top lip better than even a wet shave but it is a pity the rest of it is so poor. It was expensive but I have to change it as I must shave every day so it was over £150 for 3 months bad shaving.

Glenn,
<br/>I am experiencing the same cutting out problem when the shaver is fully charged and also when running it on the cable. Have you found anyone at Braun who has a solution?
