    Good Points: ZERO!


    Bad Points: MILLIONS!


    General comments: Bought a 42" Hitachi plasma TV from Smart Shop TV. TV picture died after 6 months. Unable to make any contact with them in any way.

    I also ordered a set of knives in January and they took the money but haven't delivered the products. I have also called and emailed many times but get put on hold and never get a reply, as well as this i have writen to smartshop.tv at wimbledon (only to have my letter returned to sender by the royal mail last week) . I am glad to hear that people have got their money back when paid by debit card but i paid by my Barclaycard credit card does anyone know if i can get my money back and how i can d ...

    I have contacted watchdog by email concerning smartshop. I ordered a set of knives in January and they took the money but haven't delivered the products. I have called and emailed many times but get put on hold and never get a reply. I am glad to hear that people have got their money back when paid by debit card because I to paid by debit and am glad I might get a chance to get my money back.

    I had problems getting my money back, I contacted visa and got my money back that way. I have since researched the internet and according to a website snoop4companies Smartshoptv has gone into liquidation.

    Ordered camera 9th December money taken out of account straight away several phone calls and emails, even recorded letters, no response. No camera been in touch with trading standards still no luck no camera or refund no way of contact with the company. Had a very sad daughter at Christmas who had no camera Christmas morning.

    The shopping channel was quick to take the money but still waiting for the refund. Do not know their phone number so stuck for our refund contacted every one, costing more money in phone calls .

    I have also ordered a camcorder for £87 which they took the money on 10/12/2077, still not got my goods. Can't find the shopping channel any more and cannot get hold of them. I trying to find the number for them.

    I ordered some tanks early December for Christmas. Smart Shop TV www.smartshoptv.com took my money quick enough but I still haven't received the tanks. I tried e-mailing and phoning with no response so I wrote to the ASA who are investigating them. I am awaiting the results.

    I too ordered a camcorder for christmas i placed the order on the 14.12.07 and they took the money from my bank on the 17.12.07 it was for £87.00 i have phoned customer services but no one has answered my calls i have now phoned trading standards.

    Took delivery of a 42" TV. which was late the TV worked for 3 hours Tried to contact Smartshop but they refused to answer any of my emails and phone calls. Trying to sort repair/replacement with the manufacture because Smartshop have refused to respond.Have reported Smartshop to trading standards and watchdog.

    I ordered my camera for xmas and they took my £87.00 on the 21/12/07. I am still waiting for the camera and can get no answer from them on their customer service. I am not going to give up. I am contacting watchdog along with many other people.

    Having ordering two DV7s to be delivered at my address one for myself & the other was for my daughters boyfriend on the 21st December, On 25th December our banks accounts were debited of £87 each. Were didn't worry too much the first week due to the Christmas.
    I contacted them asking what had happened to our cameras we were told that they had been lost by the couriers & we would receive a full refund within the next 10days.

    I ordered a DV7 camera from Smart Shop TV on the 3rd of December 2007, and on the 5th of December the money came out of my account. I have emailed them about 10 times, and made numerous phone calls, of which I could not get an answer to any of them, even after holding for 15 to 20 minutes, which was costing me. I then got in contact on the 7th of February and I was told I would get a full refund within 7 days, but I am still waiting. I have now written to my local trading standards.

    They took my money for a camera in November but six weeks later when i phoned after 2 hours on the line waiting for someone to answer they said they would refund my money then promised the same the next month. Still waiting for refund.
    I would not order from smartshop. 3months later no camera no refund. They haven't answered phone calls or emails.

    I ordered two cameras for Christmas presents and was assured they would be delivered for Christmas. Still waiting in February! But they took our money. Do not recommend using them!

    I bought a camera off this channel and wanted to send it back because i was very unhappy with the quality and the whole thing in general. I have sent the camera back which maybe a very big mistake! I would like to know if any one has a website for any complaints regaurding the channel or a phone line to make a complaint and find out where my money is !

    Ordered digican for my dad for xmas. money taken from my account, never received. same problem as everyone else. phoned numerous times with no result. i do not recommend anyone using this site. Will be getting in touch with watchdog. these people should not be allowed to get away with this.

    here's a update. having purchased on a debit card we did not think that we were covered for getting our money back from these !!!!!!!!!! Spoke to our bank (Halifax) and they have traced the money and it has been credited back to our account.
    may be worth a try plus can i suggest that everyone contacts BBC Watchdog to see if we can do this company some major damage, we may even make Sky take responsibility for what they screen as well.
