    Good Points: I have an account with A&L which entitles me to free travel insurance, i have used twice and thankfully not required to claim but when enquiring what I would be entitled to claim through I have always had extremely helpful customer service assistance.


    Bad Points: None


    General comments: Booking a holiday in Cancun A&L have taken the pressure of me having to worry about travel insurance and I feel confident I would have no problem claiming should I ever need too.

    By banking with alliance and Leicester we receive free travel insurance. Although we don't go on holiday anymore its nice to have it for free every year in case we do. The cover is limited to a small amount but is suitable especially as it is free. If we go away we would take out additional cover through.
    To qualify for it you need to have a premier plus bank account I believe, although there is no requirement to make regular use of it.

    As it is free, I recommend it!
