I write this on the evening of my supposed car inspection. I booked in for a fully comprehensive car check at £195 for early this afternoon. The guy who took the payment yesterday could not be friendlier explaining and confirming that my inspection was booked in for this afternoon and that I should expect a call between 4pm-6pm from the Engineer. 6pm came and no call, I contact customer services only for them to leave the main office a message to contact me. Very happy with my mercedes inspection, aa rac dekra wouldnt check the vehicle due to its age but auteco were happy to help

Excellent report delivered online only a few hours after the check took place

Think they could improve there call centre though as often staff are busy and have to wait for a call back

Overall very happy and I happy with my new purchase (read more)

I am having to take auteco vehicle inspections to court to recover costs of 1535 pounds for repairs to 2 vehicles they inspected on my behalf which were then exported to me in Australia. They have failed to answer any of my correspondence.
The faults would have been obvious to anyone who drove the cars. One had oil spewing out of the front oil cooler and the other grated badly enough to "take your hand off" when changing from second to third gear!

Booked on Monday, got report on tuesday and collected the car on thursday. Just like Craig David but better! Fast response, and much cheaper than AA & RAC. Inspection report form appears online and you are given your own login, much faster than waiting for a post copy or email. Engineer called me on the day too. Booked on Monday, got report on tuesday and collected the car on thurday. Just like Craig David but better! Would recommned to anyone, vehicle good service. (read more)

I found Auteco Vehicle Inspections to be cheaper than RAC/AA - checked car next day, car had some small faults but got some money off. Good service. Recommended -will use next time. (read more)
