    Good Points: very friendly people lovely hotel very relaxed cabins beautiful

    General comments: we went for our daughter's new years eve wedding to Kakslauttanen Cabins and Igloos -what a magical trip everyone there was so friendly nothing was to much trouble the cabins are so comfortable totally clean, with 2 bedrooms, master with wet room and sauna,then a second bathroom off the kitchen, hairdryers, shampoo and liquid soap plus lovely white towels all supplied, there are no shops there but for 3.50euros youcan get the local bus into saarriselka village , or the ski bus for 2euros .the bus also goes to ivalo if you want somewhere bigger to visit , celebrated new years eve with the locals with champagne and fireworks, we were also lucky enough to see the northern lights .drinks were expensive at 5gbpounds for less than a pint .but the rate for euro was awful .the only thing i would say needs extra lights along the walk to the cabins,all in all for a trip that we would not have taken normally we had the most fantastic time. the jarvie's
