I know what I like, and I like what I see!!!. This player has everything and appears to play everything. One question to the floor.

Everyone has mentioned that this DVD player can be region free and macrovision free but could anyone tell me how to actually do it ?. I've seen stuff for the DHC-8000K and the DVG-6000D. I'm after the code for the DVG-8000D. Can anyone help.

Not at all happy with this Daewoo 8000DVG DVD player which I purchased 3 months ago. The picture quality is not good and neither is the sound. Doesn't play all DVDs. My advice -stay away from this one

I was looking for a dansai 852 could only find a 1010 but did not like the lack of display so took it back to tescos
and researched the dansai clones. Found this daewoo model that has improved on the 852-it has all the abilty but a full seperate cd play section with random program repeat and a display like a cd player as well.
Sound options brill sound loud crisp clear and any dolby option you want-this is a great machine.

The Daewoo 8000DVG DVD player is a dvd svcd vcd cdr cdrw dvdr dvdrw mp3 and a fully separate cd player as well with full logic of shuffle random program of cd tracks.
The dvd side is well done with no less than 24 buttons. On the player itself, it's silver, nice and clean with a 3 level display and loads of extras to pass the time with. Go get it only 139 with free del from web electrics, london

Well the Daewoo 8000DVG DVD player is very comprehensively equiped to play the usual dvd vcd cdr cdrw svcd dvdr dvcdrw etcmp3 blah blah...
But its playing of cds is very good as display changes to look like a cd player with tracks time etc and shuffle program tracks etc and independent choice of tracks just like a cd player.
dvd vcd etc played well and the karaoke is very good. With 5.1 dts surround sound etc the audio is well taken care of. The case looks like the flight deck of a concorde-on ...
