    Good Points: - Good intonation
    - Ease of reaching high-notes such as high C with one ledger, and above
    - Weight is lighter than Buffet
    - Casing is portable

Bad Points: - clarinet casing appearance is not as superior as Buffet's
    - Clarinet casing storage space is limited compared to Buffet's
    - Prices at some countries may be over-priced

General comments: - Better tone produced than Buffet in my opinion.

I use a Vandoren 5RV mouthpiece with a Vandoren reed strength of 3.5+. Personally, I own a Buffet E11 and at school band, I use Buffet RC model and at outside a community band, I use Yamaha YCL-SEV. The condition of Buffet RC and the Yamaha YCL-SEV conditions are similar - not very well-maintenance. Simply because they are school / community center property that maybe why these professional range clarinets are not properly cared-for.

Anyway, I tested these 3 clarinets with my 5RV and reed and I immediately can tell you, SEV really win hands-down. Maybe it's me.... but Buffet really doesn't suit my blowing style and stamina. I noticed Buffet RC and E11 bore diameter is bigger than SEV and I am not sure this maybe the reason why I can blow with ease and lesser amount of airflow to reach the same note compare to Buffet. This is especially so when comes to lower note....the tone produced by the SEV sounds better than Buffet RC such as more rich and rounder.

A lot of my clarinet peers prefer Buffet and own buffet professional range clarinet but not me.
