“Beware The Cold Call”

I received a "cold call" from The Sunday Times Wine Club and agreed to buy a case of wine at an apparently advantageous price. The young salesman was not the brightest, it must be said, not understanding the meaning of the word "robust", as my description of the type of red wine I like. When I clarified in simpler terms, he made a comment about people who like to "eat their red wine with a knife and fork", which I regard as a tactless and inappropriate remark. “terrible delivery service - Sunday Times Wine Club”

Ordered before 8am on the day before the delivery was required. Website said order before 2pm and pay extra 8.99GBP to get it guaranteed the next day, which we did. It was a last min present for a friend's 50th. The following Sunday evening we recieved an e-mail saying that the delivery was 'On it's way'. What transpired thereafter was a disrespectful list of e-mails. First up was an e-mail appology and a refund of the 8.99. Not good enough considering that we only used their service... (read more)

Four Seasons ..this is part of the Sunday Times wine club..

You may be tempted by their introductory three free bottles or even two cases for the price of one if you're lucky. The offers tend to change and much depends on where you see the advert.
