I've had this phone for 8 months and I'm already on my third replacement. Both times I had to replace it because it decides not to turn on, except for the keypad and the only way to tunr it off is to take the battery out. Now the keypad is getting temperamental. I would not recommend this phone.

My Sony Ericsson K850i broke within 4 weeks of having it, it wont let me send or receice text's and it wont let me even get into my messages.

Had the phone replaced once within the first few days because the camera would not switch to movie mode. Was sent a new phone 4 weeks ago but I am now currently in the process of the new phone being sent back to vodafone for repair, as I've had the phone for more than 14 days they will not replace or exchange the phone model. The phone switched itself off, keypad and camera lens lights up but the phone will not work at all!
Touch buttons can sometimes be non reactive and slow. Glossy finish to phone - gets scratched/marked easily. Would not recommend this phone, wish I'd never got it. It would seem these problems are common on this model, have read many K850i reviews - the bad out weigh the good. Pity I didn't do it before hand.

The Sony Ericsson K850i good phone if it works for more than 6 month. This was the problem with the old phone. Will never buy another sony erricson again!!

I have the Sony Ericsson K850i phone for about 3 months now. keeps switching itself off all the time! could not send or receive texts, kept saying operation failed until i updated the firmware. My touch screen function has stopped working which has made my phone completely USELESS! very disappointed with this phone. i do NOT recommend this phone to anyone!
