    Dreadful. Useless, money grabbing idiots who will neither give you your money's worth (£175 to change a name on a contract?!), nor give you your deposit back at the end of a contract. Avoid like the plague - they give a bad name to the Property Management industry (as if it wasn't already bad enough).

    Someone needs to report these cretins to BBC Watchdog or something. I'm sure what they are doing is against the law.

    Please, do not fall into the trap of using them. I naively thought that a company couldn't be so bad and get away with it - it seems I was horribly wrong.

    I have to agree with other reviewers about the terrible customer service from Alan Harvey Property Management. I sent four emails and made two phone calls to give notive to the Leytonstone office and had no response. When I finally spoke to her she was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

    After renting a property through Alan Harvey for a whole year and recieving a poor service from them on all fronts, I decided to rent privately.
    I moved out in August and it is not December and I still haven't recieved my deposit.
    I find it infuriating that the deposit money they are so quick to take from you, they will withhold so easily.
    I have threatened an official complaint but it was over-looked, no-one has yet addressed the issues I've had or apologise.

    There are none. Not yet received a reply to my emails/letters/phone calls in a timely manner, remained on hold for 47 minutes only to be told the 'employee' i wanted to speak to had "gone to lunch". The only way to get through to Alan Harvey Property Management was to stop our rent - they soon replied then!

    I rented a flat from Alan Harvey Property Management November 06 - may 07. I have since been trying to get my deposit back but after nearly a year and many rude conversations with the worst customer services i have ever dealt with, still no response, i now have to resort to bringing this company to court.

    Friendly staff. though I have rented through Alan Harvey Property Management, i will eventally be looking to purchase with the same company

    The most objective and reasonable comment I can make about Alan Harvey Property Management is that in ten years of renting property they are the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. The year my partner and I have spent renting a small flat in the east end of London through them has been an absolute pain - we are a young professional couple who have been model tenants, looked after the property and left it in a far better and cleaner state than we found it in.
