Great friendly and approachable staff. I was still able to try on even though i didn't have an appointment.
Fantastic range of Wedding dresses, Good variety of tiaras and veils too. Nice relaxing environment, No pressure.
Ordered my dress which i struggled to get (had seen it on the internet!)
Love it to bits and cant wait for the big day!!
Also ordered bridesmaid dresses but then changed my mind. Nothing a problem, even offered my money back when a deposit had been made.
Place is a bit grubby and could do with updating but dont listen to bad reviews i had i great experience!!!

Everyone was so helpful at Celebration Village Manchester giving advice and being able to speak with your actual fitter is a great comfort for ensuring a successful conclusion. With having a mens hire department with the same expertise and being able to match the rouche and hanks with the bridesmaids dressing takes an enormous amount of pressure off and saves running around to different shops.I also ordered my wedding cake and hired my limosine and was able to relax in the coffee shop whilst mak ...

Have been in looking at Mother of the Bride outfits. Very old fashioned styles on offer, some not even suitable for Grandmother of the Bride. My daughter has been waiting since January for her Bridesmaids dresses to arrive, and was told today that they have been despatched. We'll see how long it takes for them to arrive, and let's hope that everything is ok, as the wedding is only 7 weeks away. Celebration Village in Manchester needs a total re-furb, musty, poor lighting, old and tatty displa ...

I cannot believe that I have visited Celebration Village Manchester like some of the reviewers on here (although everyone is entitled to their opinion). The service I received from this store was fantastic, I hadn't made an appointment but I was invited to try on gowns, the staff were helpful, friendly and honest which is an important factor for me. I now have on order the dress of my dreams and I'm very excited and looking forward to visiting again soon. I love the idea of everything under o ...

I have ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses in January from Celebration Village Manchester, my wedding is in 9 weeks and the dresses are still not in and when i ask them where they are they keep saying next week, they have been saying that for the last 5 weeks.

Awful service at Celebration Village Manchester. I had them make cravats and hankies which my 3 yr old could have made better. I ended up with none for my ushers to wear with only a week till my wedding and they did nothing to accomadate this.

I disliked the service from Celebration Village Manchester, which in my opion I have never had such bad service when spending so much money in one shop. Two members of staff were particularly rude, and when we pointed out a long list of errors, they never once appologised.
The only advice I would give to any one thinking about using the company is DONT DO IT!!!!!

Where to start with Celebration Village Manchester. We ordered and paid for extra material from the bridesmaid dresses to make the ushers cravats, they charged us £150 and said this would cover them being made up hower we wanted them, after several un returned phone calls the material arrived late when they were made up, they certainly were not to our specifications, one out of the six was completly unusable, one person in particular was so rude and could not understand why with only one ...

Celebration Village Manchester has nice staff but one mistake you can forgive and put down to a mistake however i have had 2 bad experiences with these.

Firstly my mums dress came in late and just 2weeks before her wedding and was the WRONG dress therefore too late to do anything about it as it was late. She ended up with a dress not of her choice!

Secondly my sisters dress came in damage with pen on it which gained a poor response from staff.

Very disappointed as seemed nice and helpful unt ...

Dresses were late, and damaged when they arrived. I found the service to be disappointing, the staff did not seem to know what they were talking about, and each member of staff gave me a different answer to my questions than another.

Service standards in the menswear dept leave a lot to be desired, don't expect to try anything on unless you know exactly what style of suit and colour you want. Prepare for grumpy comments behind your back!

What a fantastic store!!! I arrived at Celebration Village and to find such a welcoming reception. The staff were so helpful finding and fitting us with such beautiful gowns. Also everything under one roof from bridal gowns to wedding favours etc....The store does need updating but changes are being made as we speak.

I visited celebration village in march 2008. Getting married for the second time and being 50 years old I did not look forward to the shopping trip! My beautiful daughter in law came with me for moral support. On entering the show room I was asked by an assistant if I had an appointment, which I did not, that was no problem, she then asked who was getting married, I explained what I wanted, to feel and look like a bride but not in something clearly for a 20 something. This lovely lady steered me ...

I would not recommend a visit. I went to other dress shops which I thought would be a lot more expensive than what they were and got much better assistance in a much nicer surrounding.

If you are looking for a comical day out then celebration village might be the way forward, however if like me you had planned a nice day out for your bridesmaids, in my experience, you may end up sorely dissapointed! The staff didn't seem well trained and there was no attention to detail. The biggest thing for me was the state of the dresses - they were so grubby some them were grey with dirt. I have never seen this before, we were shocked.
